This is a piece of "Heaven"
Great scenery, fantastic beaches and lakes, and world ranked golf courses ....all on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, where the first transatlantic cables can into Europe, and where Charlie Chaplin came on his vacation for many years. Two of his children still live here.
It is recommended you have your own transport.

You will be met by the local lady who looks after this property for me and she will show you around the house and help you get set up to enjoy your vacation in this unique spacious property.
Very nice house compared to the surrounding area houses we looked at. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with our stay. It's important if you are traveling with a toddler to have plenty of distractions as Waterville is a remote area of Kerry without much to do in the town itself with children. We left a few days early and came to an agreement with the host on the cost of heating oil which we found an expensive addition to what we believed was already a fair amount paid for the house.
The chocolate factory is a nice trip as is Derrynane beach if weather cooperates. This area has been hit extremely hard by the downturn in the real estate market and the tour buses come through quite a bit (we counted 50+ one day!)
The area is beautiful but if we returned it would be for a golf trip with friends.

I am married and very keen on International affairs.
I love meeting new people and enjoy golf, travelling and business.
Have a great interest in tourism, property and houses and designed and built my holiday home in Waterville ( also available on this site ) ...............an oasis of it's own - far away from the maddening crowd.
Our family are grown up and flown the nest, but all are living within 5-10 mins from here.
