We can't say enough good things about our stay and the hosts. Colleen and Gordon were amazing hosts. Traveling with a one year old can be hard and they handled it with amazing generosity. Every breakfast felt like it was specially made for us and the baby even got her own plate. There were blocks and sand toys waiting for her to play with and a pack and play with a little stuffed "honu" turtle in it. The location was beautiful and quiet and really felt like home while we were there. We would have stayed longer if we could and will go back if we can. Such a great experience.

We read so many fabulous reviews before booking and Colleen's B&B met and exceeded all our expectations. We stayed 7 nights with our nearly 2-year-old and it was great. The home-cooked breakfasts delivered every morning made the visit special and definitely added to the value. Our toddler was provided with a playpen/bed, booster seat, toys, and special breakfasts just for him. We loved being in a local neighborhood with room for our little guy to explore the yard and play. It was a short drive to beaches, restaurants, and other sites. Definitely would recommend and hope to come back.

Staying with Colleen and her husband was wonderful! The place was private, as well as beautiful. We had a delicious breakfast served to us every morning. One of our favorite things to do was try and guess what would be served the next day. No ac was needed and we woke up to the sounds of chickens and birds each morning. It was a quaint, peaceful and gorgeous honeymoon. Would recommend staying with Colleen to anyone!

Colleen and Gordon's place is perfect if you are looking for a cozy, quiet niche from which to base all of your adventures on the Island. Breakfasts are a great addition and their ability to answer all your questions about the area. The bed and the bathtub were great to come home to at the end of an adventure day. Very lush and birds singing. Enjoyed morning walks and runs on the road on which they live. Lei aloha is a great choice if you want to be near the North Shore.

We had an amazing stay at Colleen and Gordon's. Colleen took the time to send us travel information ahead of time and therefore we were able to learn a little about Kauai before arriving. She prepared an amazing breakfast for us each morning including fruit grown on the property! We had to leave around 6:30 am one morning and she prepared a small meal to go for us. We found this extremely thoughtful. The room is very comfortable and nicely furnished. Location is very convenient. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Kauai.

This is our second time to stay here. Colleen and George were great hosts. Breakfast was fantastic. We brought our daughter on this trip, and there was a Pack N Play ready for her when we arrived. Colleen was even nice enough to babysit our four-month-old for a few hours while we went out for dinner. We hope to go back next time we're in Kauai.

Our hosts Coleen and Gordon were rockstars. My wife has numerous food restrictions and Coleen was able to creatively accommodate with masterful creations every morning that were delicious. I also wake much earlier than my wife and Gordon was kind enough to bring me down a cup of coffee prior to breakfast which went beyond expectations. As for location, just down the road there is a beautiful private beach with a refreshing river flowing in to the ocean, makes for a wonderful beach day. The North shore is pleasantly peaceful in comparison to the south shore which is perfect for those looking for a more remote vacation. The combination of hospitality and location makes this B&B very desirable and worth staying at while in Kauai.

Born and raised in Hawaii. Moved with my husband Gordon and two sons from the Island of Oahu to Kauai to escape all the societal ills that accompany an over populated paradise. Always loved Kauai and someday planned to move here and establish a bed and breakfast to share this wonderful place with visitors who want to experience the true Kauai Aloha! We are living the dream and would like to share it with visitors to our island.
