We just got back from our trip to Hawaii during which we stayed at Colleen's B&B. I took my 8 and 4 year old kids with me on this trip. My prior experience with B&Bs has always been good but since I never took the kids I wasn't sure what to expect. Colleen was very welcoming and kind. She made sure the kids' needs were met by giving us recommendations on what to do, where everything was and more importantly providing us with amazing breakfast. The kids went to bed every night looking forward to the breakfast next morning! I don't think I have ever had such great breakfast either.
The place is flawless. It has beautiful interior and very comfortable Everything from is well thought out for your comfort. There are candles, bath salt as well as beach towels and mats available for the adventures. It can accommodate couples for a romantic getaway or those with kids.
The outside space is very pretty and open. I enjoyed walking around and so did the kids. You can also park your car right outside the door and walk right in.
The location was superb. the beaches close to this area (all within minutes) were beautiful. We did a lot of things on this trip from zip-lining, kayaking, hiking to dolphin watching and snorkeling and we were able to get around very easily. We also went to a beautiful Luau. Most of these adventures that we picked were about 30-45 minutes of driving away. The road is very pretty and you can even spot a water fall here and there.
Overall I highly recommend Colleen's B&B for a relaxing and adventurers trip!
Thank you Colleen!
The place was great. It's located in the north shore and convenient to explore the whole island. There is a very nice beach nearby (20 minutes walk). The room is nice and comfy. She provided us with beach towels and chairs that were very useful. And the best part was the breakfast. Every morning she would prepare a delicious breakfast. I would defiantly recommend this place to anybody visiting Kauai
Great place to stay in a wonderful location on the North Shore. The studio was very clean, nicely appointed and Colleen was an excellent host (we loved her homemade breakfasts). If you are looking for a Kauai experience away from the touristy South side of the island this is the place.
The guest room at Colleen's B&B is all that we could have asked for: spacious, well kept, private. The house itself is on a quiet street in a secluded neighborhood but still within a minute of Kuhio Highway, the road that rings the island. Colleen was friendly and prepared an outstanding breakfast for us each morning. We're glad we chose to stay at Colleen's B&B and would return without hesitation.
We loved our stay at The B&B at Leialoha Ti. Met Colleen only when we arrived as she was not there during our stay but she showed us around the studio and was very communicative online all throughout our stay. The studio is very comfortable, clean and everything is done so nicely - lovely towels, soaps and lots of tiny details. We stayed with our 2-year old toddler and we had plenty of space + facilities to prepare simple food. The huge bed is very comfortable and the day bed is also very good. We loved Kilauea and we discovered the nearby beach which was our favourite. Hope to return to Kauai someday.

Born and raised in Hawaii. Moved with my husband Gordon and two sons from the Island of Oahu to Kauai to escape all the societal ills that accompany an over populated paradise. Always loved Kauai and someday planned to move here and establish a bed and breakfast to share this wonderful place with visitors who want to experience the true Kauai Aloha! We are living the dream and would like to share it with visitors to our island.
