  • We had a great stay at Gisela's. The place is big! Very comfortable and extremely clean. We definitely had a very easy stay - probably gained a few pounds because we were so close to all the great restaurants on 5th Ave. I would highly recommend this place to any traveler.

  • Nice and quiet place, pleasant after a day in Manhattan.
Good surprise: squirrels early morning in the garden.
A good district, easy for the subway.

  • My wife and I were visiting Park Slope area, and Gisela's apartment was a right choice for us. It is a classic brownstone garden apartment in the perfect location with everything what 5th Avenue can offer - restaurants, bars, shops etc.The apartment is spacious, clean and very quiet.Inside of the apartment everything is thoughtfully organized, the bed is very (website hidden) was cold and we didn't use a garden, but in warm period,as it's easy to imagine,it wood be great.Overall we felt comfortable in the apartment.
Gizela is a great responsive host. We'll stay in the Gizela's apartment again in our next visit. November 2013

  • Very nice apartment in a wonderful area. Gisela was a great host. Unfortunately, it was already to cold for using the garden, but we could imagine how lovely it must be to use it and to watch the squirrels. Due to the way the brownstone houses are built, it could be a bit noisy sometimes.

  • We had a great time staying here. Gisela is a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. The bed was very comfortable and the location is fantastic.

  • Gisela's apartment was just what we wanted. A classic brownstone garden apartment in Park Slope a few steps away from the shops and restaurants and a few blocks from our son's apartment. It was clean and ready for us to check in.The queen size bed was very comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere. We also had a car and found parking on the street to be no problem. Gisela has an apartment upstairs and is available right away if you have any questions. We also had use of the cute and private back yard. We will definately stay there again on our next visit to see our son.

  • We had a great time in Brooklyn. Gisela is a great host, the apartment is nice and perfectly located.

    June 2013
  • Gisela provided a perfect Park Slope experience. The apartment is spacious, well appointed, and perfectly located. I spent a week there and felt like I was a resident of the neighborhood—but with more space and better water pressure than many residents. Highly recommended if you're going to spend extended time in Brooklyn.

  • The location is great. My husband and I were visiting our son who lives in Park Slope and this apartment was a few blocks from his place. Apartment is spacious and clean. Gisela was accomodating since we arrived early. Will stay here again.

  • Gisela was an excellent host, great communication and very responsive to questions and requests.

The apartment is located in a fantastic location, lots to eat and drink and near the subway. It is large and has everything you need and I felt comfortable there.

    Parkslope is a great area!!

The only downside is the apartment is a little noisy and may bother some people.

    Response from Gisela:

Thank you, Matt! I just want to clarify about the noise: our street is very very quiet, so traffic, ambulances or bus noises. What you may hear is us walking on the floor above you, as the acoustic separation between floors in a Brownstone is not great. Hope this helps!
