The location was great for us. It was near my son and family, lots of restaurants, grocery store, transportation, parks, etc. We enjoyed our stay in Brooklyn.

The apartment was pretty spacious and fine for what we needed. We wanted to be close to our relatives so the location was perfect. My only complaints are the bedroom is street level and facing the street therefore their is a bit of noise especially with the birds nice and early in the morning. Maybe that's just this time of year, bring earplugs just in case. Don't forget to bring shampoo and conditioner and body wash. Those are not provided. I do wish the apartment had some artwork on the walls for a warmer feel and the main light is a bright white light. The added closet in the middle of the room breaks up the space and I think takes away from the apartment. An open closet would be much nicer. The block is quite odd and has no handle so it's strange to open and close. If I were them I would get rid of that cube entirely and make the space nice and open. But that's just me! The host was very nice and checkin was easy. She went through the apartment with us to show us where everything is. Overall a good stay.

This was perfect for what we needed: a staging ground from which to launch our tour of the city. The neighborhood is beautiful and convenient, just a couple blocks from multiple subway lines and prospect park. This is a no frills apartment, with a fairly bare interior, so don't expect much in the way of decoration. Gisela was easy to communicate with and attentive. Great value.

I spent a month in this apartment, while being a visiting fellow in NYU. Gisela and Jonas are wonderful hosts, and every act of communication with them went very smoothly and friendly. They made everything to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment is exactly as it looks on the pictures. It is absolutely perfect for a single traveler or a couple. Park Slope is a great neighborhood with good groceries and restaurants and coffee places just around the corner. It is easy commute to Manhattan - I went every day to Greenwhich Village by subway. In shirt, I loved both the neighborhood and the apartment.
