The best thing about this neighborhood is the location! You can walk to downtown, South Congress, the Long Center, Palmer Event Center, Auditorium Shores, the hike and bike trail, Town Lake (lake lady bird johnson). An uber ride to all the best places is usually less than $10. And when you are done having fun and ready for some rest and peace, the house is tucked back in a quiet neighborhood. The best of both worlds!
The driveway is available for parking and there is plenty of street parking right in front of the house. There are several bus stops nearby on Riverside Drive. Austin has yellow cab, uber and lyft as well as car2go and bike share.
Renter must be at least 25 years old.
A valid state ID, state driver's license or passport is required.
No parties or any other guests. This is in a private residential area. You are welcome to cook and entertain yourselves during your stay, I want you to have a wonderful time. But please respect my neighbors, keep noise to a minimum. Thank you.
This house was the most gorgeous place I've stayed in so far. A beautiful kitchen, living room, dining room, and amazing bedrooms make me wish this was home. The location was great for our use at SXSW. Far enough away that the noise and action is low, but close enough to walk to everything - only 20-25 minute walk across the bridge.
Whitney was so easy and great to work with, I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends. She was very easy to communicate with, and made sure we had what we needed prior to our stay.
I'm a young professional, who loves living in Austin - even if the summer heat can be brutal. I enjoy being active and healthy. I run, walk, bike, swim, hike, take yoga and pilates classes. I have a very sweet dog, he's 6 years old and medium sized. I got him at a shelter as puppy and he has been a sweetheart ever since. I love to travel and explore!
