I was lucky enough to spend 10 days in June's unit in BGC. The unit is really nicely furnished and homely with everything you need for a stay, including towels, some basic toiletries, drinks and snacks to get you started :) I loved the loft bedroom and the views it gives you across Manila, this is far better than any of the hotels I've stayed at in Manila.
Located at the top of the high street means easy access to food choices but the unit also comes with a well appointed kitchen with a cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine. This is definitely somewhere I'd happily stay for a longer time and make use of more the unit and condo facilities. I hope I get the chance to stay again soon.
If your visiting friends or working in BGC then this unit's location is great, super easy to get to other parts of Manila with access to C5 or EDSA from BGC and the bonus of the best parking spot in Serenda.
One thing to be cognisant of are the rules around using the unit as its a premium condo unit in BGC. You have to register yourself as a guest at the admin department (located in the basement car park) and sign in every day but the staff and guards are friendly and accommodating so its really not a big deal.
Although June was not there when we arrive, her assistant patiently wait for our arrival from our road trip in Ilocos City. The location is very convenient and the description of the place and location is accurate.
However, I was very disappointed with the concierge from the other side. My family and I were coming out of the building for dinner one night and went out pass the the pool side and veranda. The concierge asked me to sign on the log book and I asked why (since we're already coming out). I expect that when you enter the building and not on the way out but he was so rude to say we "just have to". His customer service ability is lacking in my opinion.
We stayed for 5 nights in this fantastic property. June is the most professional host, she replies promptly to any communication and provides comprehensive information. The unit is extremely spacious and very clean, fully furnished with everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Towels are provided and there are generous drinks and snack offerings kindly provided with compliments (the chocolates are amazing!). One of the beds is queen sized and the other is king sized. Each bedroom has its own airconditioner and there is a third airconditioner for the living area. The unit even comes with a washing machine!
Serendra is comprised of several buildings with different entrance lobbies. The entrance to this unit faces the Bonifacio High Street side. This unit comes with a car park which is probably the most conveniently located carpark space - just go down the ramp and it is next to the elevator. The whole complex has extensive security arrangements which provides the highest level of peace of mind.
We never cooked during our entire stay at this apartment - with heaps of restaurants literally next door and McDonalds and Jollibee just a short 10 min walk down the road towards 5th Avenue through Bonifacio High Street, you will never go hungry. And most dining places open til late (or some stay open for 24 hours) to cater for the night shift (website hidden) Aura and Market Market are again a short 5 minute walk through the restaurant strip next to the building.
There is absolutely no problem in getting a taxi from the front of the building - it costs between 30 to 50 pesos to catch a taxi to Glorietta in Makati, and between 150 to 200 pesos to catch a taxi to Katipunan Avenue. Mind you, these fares were incurred during busy traffic times so you can expect to pay a bit less if travelling outside peak hours.
This unit offered fantastic value for money and you cannot find a better located accommodation in Bonifacio Global City. I highly recommend this and will definitely book again.
