Idyllic cottage on one and a half acres of secluded land with river and stunning views, bordering Glendalough National Park. Miles of beautiful, unpsoilt countryside from your doorstep. Five minutes to the historic Round Tower and ancient monastic settlement at Glendalough and lakes. One mile to nearby village of Laragh with its shops and restaurants. One double bedroom and a single pull-out sofa bed in living room. Power shower and free-standing bath. Open fire and oil-fired Rayburn, spacious living area with views of valley.
One and a half acres of secluded land to roam. Cottage is self-contained and well furnished with all you'll need for a self-catering break away. Basics such as tea, coffee etc are in the kitchen. Bathroom comprises power shower and free-standing bath.

We are available if needed but don't live near the cottage.
Glendalough is on everyone's 'must-visit' list in Ireland. The site of ancients settlement best know as one of Ireland's earliest monastic settlements dating from the fifth century beehive huts, 10th century round tower and the later Romanesque Abbey. All set in stunning unpspoilt countryside, rivers, lakes and mountains. Miles of hillwalking tracks lace their way through this ancient landscape, accessible from your doorstep.
Glendalough National Park with it's ancient monuments and stunning scenery, borders the land of the cottage. the nearby village of Laragh, with shops and restaurants, is one mile away. Having a car is recommended.

This is a pet free, non-smoking house.
Electricity, hot water and heating; normal useage allowed for. Excessive useage will be charged at service providers rate.
Rubbish; normal useage allowed for (one or two bags per week). Excessive useage charged at local rate of €7.50 per bag.
