Description

The Space

Small cozy room only with bed and chair in a spacious flat. WiFi with high-speed internet-access available.

The room is usually used as a small meditation room (of course not during your stay ;^) The bed is (in the moment) a matress on the floor. I'm thinking about putting a big bed (160x180 cm) in the room wich would make it a bed with walls. What would you prefer?

If you plan to stay in the room for the whole day - well, than its NOT the room to book because its quite small - but if you're on a business trip, have to stay for a view nights because of your connecting flight, or you are out for the day and you are simply looking for a cheap place to stay -then thats the place for you !

Location:
The flat is located in the west of frankfurt city -the part of the city called 'Höchst'. Höchst has its own little infrastructure including the 'old town'-centre, where you find Höchst-Castle and the castle-square which is quite popular for a little excursion belong the residents of frankfurt (especially nice in the summer). If you're interersted in history, please note that you find frankfurts oldest building the saint-Justinus-church (built around the year 830) in Höchst!

The flat is located in Gebeschus-street (named after Höchst's first mayor). It's an alley. (If you want to get an impression check the 'street-view')

Public Tranportation:

1) (Frankfurt) City Centre / Main Station:
Höchst-Station is a 3 min. walk away from the flat. From there you can take the suburban Train (so called 'S-Bahn'). Every hour there are ar least 4 trains going to the city centre (S-1 and S-2 - 10 min. to the main station (Hauptbahnhof), 14 min. to the stations in the centre called Hauptwache and 16 min. to Station Konstablerwache ...)
If you plan to hang out in the city-centre until late Höchst is very convenient too. Ther VERY LAST S-Bahn (suburban train) from Frankfurt city centre is going to Höchst! (01:06 from Konstabler - 01:08 from Hauptwache - 01:12 from Hauptbahnhof, arriving at Höchst Station at about 01:22)
After that there still is a night bus departing Station 'Konstablerwache' every 30 minutes (the ride takes some time ..).

From / to the airport
From and to the airport there is direct bus (No. 58) leaving every thirty minutes (more often during daytime) it takes about 22 minutes to go there (-> Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1).
It's ideal for everybody with a connection-flight on the next day who neither doesn't want to stay at the airport, nor pay several hundred dollars at one of the hotels at the airport.

Fair ground / Exibition-ground 'Frankfurt Messe'
The way from and to the fairground takes about 17-19 minutes depending on the connection at the main station (Hauptbahnhof) to the suburban train (S-Bahn) No.s S3, S4, S5, S6) all passing the station of the fairground.
