Ideally located in the heart of the city center, our lovely studio is on the splendid and historical Garibaldi square in a typical building on the edge of the old town along the Castle Hill. First extension of the old-town northward, Garibaldi square is the second most important square in Nice and is central to the life of the city.

Whether you are looking for beach, walks along the seaside, cultural tourism, typical or modern restaurants, shopping or night-life, everything is at few minutes walking distance! (see pictures)

Our apartment is located above the restaurant "Café de Turin" at the 2° floor with lift.
Our apartment is easily accessible by most means of transport.
- By car, take the exit 'Port' of the tunnel of the Paillon.
- By train, take the tram that stops in front of the building at the stop “Place Garibaldi”.
- By plane, take bus 98 also stops in front of the building at the stop “Place Garibaldi”.
Then, whether it is by car, tram, bus or on foot, since Garibaldi Square is extremely well served, going around in Nice is not complicate at all. Visiting all Nice and its amazing surroundings (Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, Italy etc. ..) is therefore nice and easy!
Last but not least, various parking facilities are close by.
Both Salvatore and Stephane were very helpful. This apartment is ideally located on the square, just minutes away from the Old Town and walking distance from the beach. It's a very small space, so it's perfect for one or two people who plan on being outside most of the time.
After Salvator`s cousin Stephane opened us the doors to leave our luggage inside the flat we enjoyed our holidays in Nice.
With a wonderful view on Place Garibaldi the flat gives you everything you need to cook, place to eat or sleep. But it is really small. If you pop out the sofa to sleep the table cannot be there anymore. Finally we liked the flat and the town too of course, neather I think that you cannot live with three persons inside.
Great location, clean, affordable
The thing is, it was too small for a couple. On the summary it says sleeps four. No way, I'd say it sleep one!
The host met me and was very friendly.
There was no where to hang clothes
It was hot and stuffy - no fan or workable air com.
Wi if didn't work.
2 out of 5. It was clean as I say but a small audio flat that try's to be bigger than it is
The best part about my stay here was the location. It was really easy to get to and right next to old town which was my favorite part.
I would not recommend staying here with more than 2 people. I stayed with one other person and there was absolutely no extra space to move around. We spent a lot of time outside of the apartment because it was so cramped.
The Internet was nice to have but was pretty flakey. I did not work all the time and would cut out while using it.
I never actually met Salvorte ( I only met his assistant) but he was accommodating by letting me leave my luggage in the room for a few extra hours. That was very helpful!!
Since Salvatore had been very quick and detailed at responding to emails with us before our stay, I was surprised when we were left waiting for 45 minutes outside of our apartment to be let inside. When Salvatore finally showed up, everything felt rushed as he was on his cellphone for most of the time. He answered my questions, but I didn't truly feel welcomed.
Because this apartment is very small, it is ideal for 1-2 people who won't be inside the apartment much during their stay. It's a good price for the basics of what you'll need during your trip. Do note that sheets + towels are not included in the price, which I had no idea about until a few days before.
We ran into a few issues during our stay ... the hot water only lasted for a good five minutes before it began getting cold, leaving the second person in line for a chilly shower. And secondly, the wireless internet basically didn't work 75% of the time, which was a major bummer since it was one of the main reasons we picked this place. We relied on WIFI to help plan out the details of our day plans and even get some work done, so this REALLY put a damper on things. One night we even had to "get lost" for an hour and try to find a McDonald's for free WIFI, which is not exactly what we wanted to be spending our time doing while in Nice.
While we had our share of issues at this apartment, you simply cannot beat the location. It is in a popular square filled with restaurants, a grocery store, and many train + bus stations. It is also very close to Old Nice, which was our favorite place to go during our stay. Just a quick walk ( literally 2 minutes ) and you're getting lost in all of the shop filled alley ways.
The ad says it can accommodate 3 people, which theoretically is true as there is 1 single bed and 1 double, but in practice the place is so small that it becomes inconvenient when 2 and more people are in there. When you open the double bed (couch), it covers the whole empty surface in the room and you can't walk. In my opinion, this place is ok for one person only.
The other problem is with the hot water - after the first person takes a quick shower, there is no hot water for the second one.
The location is perfect, really central. The host - Salvatore - was punctual and friendly. I didn't even think that sheets are not included and I didn't ask for those in advance specifically. Yet after some difficulties, he managed to supply sheets for us. The internet was good during our stay.
The apartment is true to the pictures provided on the site. It might be a bit squeezy for 3 people but once we got used to it, it became really cozy. The location was absolutely prime, with the old town footsteps away. Most buses converge at Place Garibaldi so we could easily catch buses to Eze and Monaco. The best thing was that there were a few supermarkets away (Monoprix being my favorite) so we could easily buy food to prepare at the apartment since there was a fridge and microwave available *attention budget travellers. Last but not least, Salvatore was really attentive to our needs, allowing us to check in early and check out late, responding to our queries within a short period. All in all, it was a good first airbnb experience! :-)
If there is one thing to remember about this studio it certanly is it's situation that is ideal, close to everything you need to see in Nice !
This was one of the most professional bnb stays I have had. My partner and I arrived early and asked whether we could put down our bags, which Salvatore kindly accommodated. The apartment is exactly as shown in photos - airy, with a beautiful view, the location could not be any more convenient, the price was amazingly affordable for such luxury. We really enjoyed the apartment which is thoroughly cleaned, with a comfortable mattress and lots of storage spaces, with lots of kitchen utensils, conveniently free laundry and with a massive supermarket (as well as Old Town) literally a few steps away. Size wise the apartment is very compact - exactly what I liked. It was very efficient, modern, full of light.
The only problem was that the wireless internet was off for nearly the entire of our stay and it took a little bit of joy away from the stay. Salvator was slightly slow in replying sometimes but we got everything sorted out in the end.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
