Comfortable and convenient. A pleasure, as usual.
Afaliah was an amazing host. Helpful and gracious and respectful. The room was private and quiet and the location was also very convenient. It's very close to bus lines which can take you to the subway among other destinations, but it's a short walk to the subway and a shorter walk to Citibike stations, so it takes no time to get to Manhattan. There's also a CVS, grocery stores, laundromat and Fort Greene Park nearby.
Warm, convenient and welcoming, as usual. Afaliah and Will are perfect hosts.
I was a regular guest with Afaliah and Will: 15 times in the past 8 months. They were always welcoming and friendly. No problems, even though I momentarily lost track of the keys. (I see there is now a lost key policy.) If you choose to make a visit to NYC/Brooklyn and stay with them, expect the best of hospitality.
Convenient, clean and quiet... as always.
Convenient, clean, congenial: the experience of staying with Afaliah and Will was a pleasure, as usual.
As a repeat visitor/customer, I know to expect a comfortable, clean and convenient experience. Afaliah and Will are tops.
Exactly what I needed. A clean and convenient place to lay my head. Nice hosts with friendly cat. I will be back to see them again.
This is a convenient place to stay warm, eat well, and get a good night's sleep. Will and Afaliah are warm quiet hosts and they keep the climate caribbean. The room has a comfortable bed and the window opens to a silent backyard. A few blocks south is Ft. Greene Park with free wifi and all kinds of good restaurants and cafes on Myrtle Ave. Dino on Dekalb Ave south of the park has the best french toast I've ever had. Subway stations are a bit of a walk, but I pleasant one that I always enjoyed. If you are in a hurry, you can walk two steps to Flushing Ave and take a short ride on the B69 bus to Jay Street station.
Afaliah and her boyfriend were fantastic hosts! The house was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is a bit far from the sub (for a non-new yorker), but they met me one night at the station and also showed me how to take a bus straight from their house to the station. I would not walk home, at night, alone in this area. It is VERY affordable and for the price, it was exactly what I needed, a clean place for a woman traveling alone to just sleep and shower.
