Casa cúpula de cobre is so named because of its beautiful copper cupula. This stunning new home is a Mexican Contemporary rental of luxurious space totally on one level and features a soaker tub and a walk in shower. The large plant filled outdoor patio, is a delight of colours and relaxing outdoor space. Built in 2010, this house is stylishly designed and caters to the needs of sophisticated and discerning travelers with relaxing colors, chic accents and new appliances. The home is located in a high end neighbourhood quiet and unpolluted.

This magical retreat nestled just above the hustle and bustle of the central area of the beautiful colonial city of San Miguel de Allende is but just a short 15 minute walk to the "el Jardin" and "la Parroquia” located adjacent to Colonia Centro.
After a full day's outing, you can return home and relax in a private, quiet, stylish environment that feels more "country" than "city" and has all the amenities of home.
Don’t like walking, no problem because we are so close to Centro, there are three buses that go up and down the hill for 5 pesos each way (about 40 cents). Taxis, no problem, they abound for about 30 to 35 pesos.
Should you decide to drive or rent a vehicle, there is a secure parking space available for your vehicle. Unfortunately, no animals are allowed.
San Miguel is a wonderful, culturally rich and diverse tourist destination and also has a large expat community. El Paraiso, located next to el Centro is the community I choose to purchase a home in because it is quieter and less polluted than El Centro. If you enjoy living closer to nature, yet near to the action of the center of town, you should consider this property. This location makes it possible to walk into the center for concerts and restaurants or the famous Tuesday market or over to the big, open mall for movies, shopping, and a full supermarket
The Unique Benefits of this is that it is located in a quiet and unpolluted area of San Miguel called el Paraiso, bordering el Centro. This property is professionally managed and assistance is available as needed.
Interaction with Guests
There is a professional property manger who can help with things, I am unavailable because I will be traveling.
This home is in a subdivision that is called el Paraiso. It is in the next Colonia to el Centro, which means it is quieter and less polluted. There is a security entrance that is staffed 24 hours a day.
Absolutely the best public transportation is easily reached from this home and of course there is taxis also.
I expect you to live in my home as if it was your own, other than that, I don't allow parties, pets or noise after 11pm. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises due to allergies.
Our visit to Lin's place was everything we expected and more! The space was charming, colorful, well cared for and comfortable. We went to Centro every day so were happy to rest at home in the quiet and floral garden toward evening. Every morning we began our day w/ coffee and fruit in the court yard, a most pleasant oasis.
Lin was a wonderful host, personable and welcoming. We so enjoyed her company and her helpful information about the town and the Mexican culture.
We highly recommend booking w/ Lin, and would certainly love to return again ourselves. Eileen and Stephen
Thanks Eileen and Stephen. It is a highlight for me to meet new people and to share the wonders of San Miguel!! This is something that I try to offer all guests, it was delightful that you both were so open to experiencing San Miguel, you get to learn and understand so much more. Please come back.
We had a great visit to San Miguel and thoroughly enjoyed staying at Lin's home. She made us feel very welcome and accommodated our requests. She met us upon our arrival and had picked up a few groceries for us that we asked for, then followed that upon by giving us a brief tour of the city. She provided suggestions for places to visit and to dine at throughout our stay there. Since we didn't go out in the evening much, we were fortunate to have the lovely kitchen to prepare our meals in. Lin, Thanks for your hospitality, great maps and suggestins.
A fantastic host and home was everything as expected -- clean, quiet, spacious, and a respectable hike from El Centro which helped us get our butt going!
The reservation was canceled 241 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
A fantastic place for a long stay in SMA. It is truly a home away from home. The condo is very well described and met all our (email hidden) is well equipped, has quality kitchen utensils and furnishings. Full amenities such as drinking water, laundry facilities, satelite TV, DVD's, CD's, etc. And a very nice garden area. A short walk to the bus stop with frequent buses to centro ...just a quick 10 minute ride. Walking into centro is downhill and only 20 minutes. Grocery store is only a 10 minute walk.
Lin is a very pleasant, thoughtful and attentive hostess. The first night she gave us a car tour of the town and took us to the grocery store to get some supplies. Another day she took us on a walking tour to show us points of interest, restaurants, gyms and short cuts for walking into town. She regularly forwarded information about cultural events that were happening.
We highly recommend Lin's home and would not hesitate to stay there again.
Lin is an exceedingly gracious host, who works very hard to ensure guests get orientated to San Miguel, its numerous opportunities, as well as to enjoy her home. Her home is beautiful and exactly as described. The first floor is very spacious with a beautiful patio to have morning coffee and listen to the birds sing. The location is geared to those who like to walk...it is ~15-20 minute walk to the jardin, however those who prefer not to, can easily take the bus 1/2 block away. Buses arrive every 5 mins or so - far better schedules than what we have in Boston! Soriana shopping center is a 7 mins walk; and the large Tuesday Market also ~15 mins walk. My husband and I like to walk, so we enjoyed this. However, I would be sure to ask about the status of the house construction that commenced immediately next door to the house. We had three saturday's of some considerable noise and left the house on day trips. During those times, the doors to the patio were not able to be open and it was rather noisy inside as the house walls are built immediately next to each other similar to brownstones in large cities. The upstairs unit does not seem to be as affected. It also depends upon what your own tolerance is for noise and what you want to experience in San Miguel. This is Mexico, and the construction schedule may be unknown or irregular. This should not dissuade anyone from renting; just to be informed. Lin's place is beautiful and we immensely enjoyed our stay.
