Marshall OverNight Stays is a place we'd like to stay when traveling. It's private, centrally located, secure, interesting to be in, and a place with open spaces to set travel bags. We enjoy having a private space when we get-away, so we do not enter the apartment for housekeeping, etc. while guests are there unless guests have requests.
MONS has the advantage of being right on Marshall's main street. So you can park your car (free, camera-monitored parking structure right next to our building ) and enjoy exploring this vibrant, historic small town. Built in1865 as the Perrin Bank , our corner building still has impressive features, such as 15 ft. ceilings and sand stone & limestone facade.
The OverNight Stay had the honor of being featured on the 49th Marshall Historic Home Tour in 2012, and our building's first floor was the featured business on the Marshall Historical Society's 50th Home Tour!! in Sept. 2013. After years of restoring it, we believe it is indeed one of the most beautiful businesses in Marshall.
It is next to a movie theater and a mediterranean tapas restaurant, so good food and an inexpensive movie are right out your door. It's down the street from many shops and restaurants, including Schuler's, and a short walk to the now-famous Dark Horse Brewery...which is very convenient.
*This is a second floor accommodation. An outside stairway with a long flight of steps leads to a private balcony and the private suite.
*Locate on Marshall's bustling Michigan Ave.
*No TV/cable but yes, there is WIFI
*No smoking *No pets
*Reserved for adults
The roof top garden on the back of the building is quite often available. Guests staying in the OverNight Stay may enjoy a summer nightcap there.
Interaction with Guests
Our frame shop, Marshall Framing Studio, is located on the first floor. We welcome guests to stop in to ask questions about their visit to Marshall, and of course, to see our framing showroom.
Check out our website under the same name.
Enjoy safe, interesting walks through our historic neighborhoods, where people say "Hi" when you walk pass. Our vibrant downtown is loaded with independently owned shops, including many vintage, art, antique, salvage, and gift stores, a well-stocked hardware, bars with local flavors, even an independent pharmacy. Theres a yoga studio, tattoo artist, and several hair/nail designers if those are your thing. Marshall has a hard-working Historical Society that maintains three unique museums, plus there is an outstanding Magic Museum just a few doors away. A variety of entertainment is happening at the Franke Center for the Arts which is right next door, and the Great Escape Theater downtown maintains a full schedule of a variety of plays.
Mostly, just walk !
That's why you come to a small town, to relax, stroll, eat and drink, enjoy !

Marhshall is amazing must visit mikes place after 11pm, the host is amazing very sweet and wonderful the unit is highly recommended
The flat was beautiful and had character at every turn. Patrice was welcoming and had set up for our visit with care. We slept well and enjoyed coffee, fresh fruit, and coconut macaroons on the balcony in the morning. A night at Marshall OverNight Stays comes with our recommendation!
For a quick sister's overnight getaway, this place was wonderful! We loved to be right in downtown Marshall and the balcony was a perfect spot to catch up with each other, enjoying a bottle of wine and a beautiful summer evening. Patrice accommodated us with a very late check-in because of my sister's late flight and provided so many special touches we did not expect. A bowl of fresh fruit, a vase of fresh flowers, and breakfast items, juices and water in the frig. The apartment is decorated with amazing antiques and is comfortable and inviting. We had a great nights sleep and enjoyed our morning shopping in downtown Marshall, which has a great selection of unique shops. Thank you for everything Patrice! We will be visiting again!
We had a great time, wish we could've stayed longer! The apartment is an awesome space, charmingly decorated, stocked with nice towels, very clean, and there were even yummy homemade snacks! Patrice was welcoming and informative. Definitely would stay again.
Perfect 24-hour getaway at our favorite place halfway between Cleveland and Chicago.
another perfect weekend in marshall with the best airbnb experience! clean and inviting as always, and great location. thanks for being our home-away-from-home!
another wonderful weekend get-away from the big cities we live in - cleveland and chicago - to this great little town almost halfway in between where you can walk everywhere. a nice place to spend the pre-christmas weekend with a hike down the riverwalk trail to the dark horse for a few 4 elf beers, a film at the bogar right next door, tapas at zarzuela, olive burgers at copper's, and breakfast at broadway grille. and then our favorite overnight place, clean and welcoming as always with yummy snacks and soft towels. thanks so much, patrice!

Professional Picture Framer celebrating 22 years since starting Marshall Framing Studio and 37 years since starting in the framing profession.
We love to travel, and are particular about our stays, wanting to know details, see photos, know what to expect. Sometimes on our trips we like to have conversation, and sometimes it's nice to have a get-away that is totally ours and private. So we try to translate that to our listing.
