  • Cherie met us when we arrived and was helpful in giving us directions downtown and restaurant suggestions. We especially liked the quiet atmosphere, the use of the full kitchen, and the back deck and beautiful yard, full of flowers. The beds in the twin bed room were very comfortable, and the location was convenient to the downtown (Bernard St.) area. We would return.

  • Cherie is a wonderful person. We felt comfortable and at home from the very beginning of our stay. Her house is very nice and clean and she was very helpful. I truely recommend this accommodation and I’m going to stay there again, too.

  • Cherie's house is as charming as it looks in the photo and the back yard is as gorgeous as the front. I could not believe how quiet her street is, let alone her house. There were other guests most of the time I was there. We seemed to be on different schedules so did not meet much, but they were very respectful and quiet whenever we were there together. Cherie answered my questions and offered a discount for the long stay ... very much appreciated. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Value for money could not be beaten ... anywhere.

  • Cherie is a terrific host. She is friendly and welcoming with a willingness to share some of her very interesting personal story if asked. Her place is charming, clean and beautifully decorated. Cherie is a brilliant artist, poet and dancer and the quiet charm of her home reflects this. The neighborhood is very quiet and her house is walking distance to the beach. We plan to return and will recommend Cherie's gem of a spot as the perfect place to stay, by one of the most beautiful lakes in BC. Thank you Cherie!

About
Once an English teacher now I am an artist, writer and tutor. Those who stay in my house described it as a retreat and a healing place. The house is pet free and quiet. Buddhist studies have been a focus in my life for several years. I hold three university degrees and have begun work on a fourth. My interests are in all aspects of creative expression, politics, urban culture and personal development. I have been to London, Paris, Barcelona, Florence, Rome and up the Amazon in Peru. Most of my time is spent creating art or poetry. I do various poetry performances around Kelowna. If you are interested in learning about the culture scene in Kelowna, come stay with me. I am fascinated by contemporary culture and love meeting people from around the world.
