Situated in the heart of Denver, this awesome little 1920's bungalow has a little bit of everything - from a huge "lovesac" pillow to watch your favorite tv shows or movies, to a beautifully decorated porch to enjoy the urban ambiance. You can also find comfort knowing you will have your own private bathroom, which will never be used by us during your stay - so make it as messy as you'd like!
Our 3 bed, 2 bathroom house located in Denver's vibrant San Rafael neighborhood offers easy access to Denver's most sought after destinations - Uptown, Downtown, City Park, LODO & Highland. Also, the two aforementioned neighborhoods are notable for their collection of Queen Anne style homes which represent one of the most popular architectural styles of the late nineteenth century, as well as for excellent examples of other styles, including Italianate, Foursquare, Classic Cottage, and Dutch Colonial Revival.

Five Points Is one of Denver's oldest historic neighborhoods. It is located on the northeast side of the downtown central business district. Five Points came to historical prominence from the 1860s through the 1950s. The neighborhood was home to Denver's aristocracy, housing mayors, governors, and prominent business people. The Welton Street Business District, Clement neighborhood, San Rafael community, Curtis Park and Ballpark neighborhoods are located within the larger Five Points neighborhood.
Public transportation is very accessible from our house. The light rail is only 3 blocks away from our house and there are a number of bus stops within a 5 block radius.
According to walk (website hidden) our house scores an 85 walk score and the bike score is 94.
Parking is available in front of our house, but please read the parking signs (on the forth Friday or Thursday depending on which side of the road), Denver does street sweeping from April through November. If you park on the wrong side of the street on that particular day (from 8:00am - 5:00pm) you will get a $50 ticket, which is no fun. (we will try our best to remind you, upon your arrival).

Great location and great people. I can't say enough about how wonderful it wad to stay with Zach and Colleen. They are extremely gratuitous host and did everything they could to make me feel at home. I am hoping to move to Denver in about a year and staying in their home gave me sense of Denver that no hotel would ever be able to match. This was my first experience with airbnb and can say that the bar has been set pretty high.
We stayed with my husband 5 nights at Zachary&Colleen's home at Denver and it was our first airbnb experience. They are extremely helpfull, hospitable, friendly and very decent family. They almost thought about everything and wrote small nice notes to the every part of the house to guide you, so you literally have an idea about what to do at home. House was super clean. I am a hygene obsessed people and I was super comfortable there. And you have your own bathroom as well. They helped a lot to us in every little detail of Denver visit. They tried to help us to find our way in the city everytime. They were so nice to help us to find a guitar for my husband's performance and bring it to the bar.If you like to have privacy so they respect it ,they are living at the 2nd floor of the house and they try to not to disturb you. You feel like you are living at your own home. But if you like to meet and have some time with them, they like to do it a lot, if they have time. The house is located in a nice and safe neighbourhood and very close to the downtown as we walked to there everyday. The house and your room-bathroom is just like the same at pictures. If you are looking for a super clean, nice, safe place which is close to the downtown, this is it, do not hesitate a little bit. It is very rare to find these kind of decent family homes to stay. We became friends with Zachary and Colleen and I strongly believe that we will see each other again. And they have a dog called "Emerson", small terrier, we call him "The Boss" :-). This dog is very well behaved, he never comes around to not to disturb you. We love dogs a lot, he didnt come to downstairs even we called him to come many many times :-) Our first airbnb experience was extremely good with this lovely couple and I think this experience will always stay as the "best"!
We were very impressed by their cozy, updated bungalow near downtown Denver. We arrived around midnight and Zach had kindly allowed our late arrival. Everything was very easy: Parking, location, directions. The queen bed was very comfortable. You could tell they really enjoyed welcoming their guests.
Thanks for a great overnight stay!
I would definitely recommend staying here. This is a nice house in what looks to be a redeveloping neighborhood that is quite close to Downtown Denver and on a quiet street. The room and bed are big and the house is comfortable/nicely decorated. You have your own bathroom as well a flight of stairs down in the basement (which is right next to the bedroom). I didn't get to meet Zach and Colleen since they were away on vacation when I was there, but was in contact with Zach through email etc. I was thankful that he was very accommodating with a friend who also wanted to stay, and with adjusting the reservation when my arrival in Denver was delayed by a day, which was a huge help. Like I said, I'd def recommend you stay here if you are looking for these things for a place in Denver.
My friend and I had a great experience staying with Zach and Colleen. They were very kind and helpful and their place is lovely and in a perfect location.
Thank you so much,
Loved staying at Zach and Colleens place! Super easy to find, close proximity to great restaurants, and there's even a Safeway and Starbucks right around the corner from the house. They are warm, fun, and inviting, and I felt welcomed right away!
I would definitely recommend staying at Zach and Colleens place to anyone looking for an easy going, relaxed place to stay. Plus, I slept like little angel on the super comfy bed!
Thanks again guys, I will definitely see you guys on my next trip to Denver!!
Zach was a great host. I was able to park my car outside without any issues. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. Highly recommend for an overnight stay.
Zack & Colleen were very gracious hosts. Their house is adorable and spacious with an artistic flair. And Emerson was a sweet addition to our experience! We returned the following week after our first stay ~ easy peasy. Highly recommend for overnight or an extended stay.
The accomodations were very clean and neat. I arrived late when no one was home. Zack and Colleen left notes all over the house pointing out where to find everything. That was very helpful and I was very grateful they went the extra mile to make me feel welcome.
Stayed with Zack & Colleen on a business trip. This was our first airbnb experience ~ and we will be using this service more often now. The price was at least 1/2 of what we would have paid for accommodations downtown. The environment was 100x better! Felt like we were truly welcome. All the comforts of home with the feel of all the love that makes a home!
