The Space

Situated in the heart of Denver, this awesome little 1920's bungalow has a little bit of everything - from a huge "lovesac" pillow to watch your favorite tv shows or movies, to a beautifully decorated porch to enjoy the urban ambiance. You can also find comfort knowing you will have your own private bathroom, which will never be used by us during your stay - so make it as messy as you'd like!

Our house located in Denver's vibrant San Rafael neighborhood offers easy access to Denver's most sought after destinations - Uptown, Downtown, City Park, LODO & Highland. Also explore the historic districts of Old San Rafael & Curtis Park where you will find numerous religious structures which represent some of the finest architecture found in the city. Also, the two aforementioned neighborhoods are notable for their collection of Queen Anne style homes which represent one of the most popular architectural styles of the late nineteenth century, as well as for excellent examples of other styles, including Italianate, Foursquare, Classic Cottage, and Dutch Colonial Revival.

The Neighborhood

Five Points Is one of Denver's oldest historic neighborhoods. It is located on the northeast side of the downtown central business district. Five Points came to historical prominence from the 1860s through the 1950s. The neighborhood was home to Denver's aristocracy, housing mayors, governors, and prominent business people. The Welton Street Business District, Clement neighborhood, San Rafael community, Curtis Park and Ballpark neighborhoods are located within the larger Five Points neighborhood.

Getting around

Public transportation is very accessible from our house. The light rail is only 3 blocks away from our house and there are a number of bus stops within a 5 block radius.

According to (website hidden) our house scores an 85 walk score and the bike score is 94.

Other Things to Note

Parking is available in front of our house, but please read the parking signs (on the forth Friday or Thursday depending on which side of the road), Denver does street sweeping from April through November. If you park on the wrong side of the street on that particular day (from 8:00am - 5:00pm) you will get a $50 ticket, which is no fun. (we will try our best to remind you, upon your arrival).

  • Zack and Colleen were friendly and their home was very tastefully decorated. They were quite accommodating to our constantly changing schedule. Parking was convenient and the location was well located.

  • Colleen and Zach have created a very comfortable and attractive home. I slept very well! They are about two blocks from a nice coffee shop and the D-line light rail which takes you right into the heart of Denver. I walked to the Denver Marriott each morning, a very pleasant 20-25 minute walk. You could do it faster if you didn't stop to take pictures of the lovely front yards. Unfortunately our schedules did not allow us much time to visit, but we did share common interests in gardening. The leaf notes for instructions was a nice touch.

The neighboring streets are sure worth a walk

  • What a week! From the moment we arrived in Denver, we felt right at home. You guys truly set the bar high for our first airbnb experience. We appreciate all the hospitality and recommendations. The house is clean and cozy. The bed is comfortable, and the location just perfect for all that we wanted to see or do during the stay. Glad we could hang out with you guys. In short, Zach and Colleen are awesome people, and everything about our stay was top notch. Don't hesitate to book this property.

Denver was such a fun city and we hope to return.

  • Zachary & Colleen were amazing hosts, I wish we could've stayed longer!! They made us feel very welcome and provided us with everything we needed to make our stay easy and fun. They're house is even nicer than the pictures, very clean and comfortable. We loved that the location was so central to everything in downtown Denver, but at the same time, the neighborhood felt very safe, quiet and laid-back. We were within walking distance to cute restaurants, cool bars and music venues. Parking was super easy as well. I've been to Denver a few times now, and Airbnb is definitely the way to go, especially for the awesome hosts you'll meet!! Thanks Zach & Colleen!!

  • Zach and Colleen, we had a wonderful stay at your home. The space was just perfect. For some reason I didn't realize the bathroom was down stairs but it didn't even make a difference. The room was clean and bed comfy and the location is absolutely perfect. Close to everything and really easy to find.
I was really glad we could meet the two of you if only for a short time. I can tell you two are an amazing couple. We will come again if we need another couple of nights in the city!

If we had our choice, we would spend our lives traveling. Unfortunately that isn't quite feasible; at least not yet, but we are working at it! Some of our favorite international travel spots include: Krabi (Thailand), Chang Mai (Thailand), Cameron Highlands (Malaysia) LIttle Corn Island (Nicaragua), Parque Tayrona (Colombia), Manuel Antonio (Costa Rica), We are extremely laid back individuals, who are open to trying just about anything. As your host, we hope to show you parts of Denver that aren't in the travel books
