Gil and Zoe are 2 young and dynamic persons. They are very discrete and are ready to help us if we have specific questions about good adresses for eating out and for visiting the neightborhood.
Their typical and comfortable appartment is very well located (Greenwich-SoHo area - close to Washington Square) and easy to reach by subway. A lot of pretty nice restos, bars and typical SoHo (but sometimes expensive) shops.
Sometimes very noisy in the evening. Perfect for 2 persons but not for more.
Certainly to be recommended for future guests !
Giles and Zoe were welcoming and kind. The flat is small but perfectly formed and I enjoyed my stay. The neighbourhood has many coffee shops, restaurants and shops and is ideally located in Manhattan.
Zoe and Giles were awesome hosts. Their space is elegantly decorated, with a touch of Australian charm. There's a nice view of Thompson which offers decent people watching from time to time. No construction below, so it's relatively quiet, though the guest room faces the rear of the apartment, so it is very quiet. They also provide two dresser drawers for clothing storage which is great for long stays. Laundry services close by as well. No TV, but I felt that was a plus. Go enjoy Washington Square Park! No microwave, so if you need to cook or reheat, you'll need to use the gas oven (remember to turn it off). Plenty of fridge space though, and access to purified water at the faucet. It is on the 4th floor which was a definite workout, so pack lightly.
Great hosts, very friendly and welcoming.
Easy to get in contact with, easy to get the key for the appartment, and I litterally felt "at home".
Slept well in the room with a great bed.
And the location was great, close to shopping, subway and places to eat.
My highest recommendation to stay with these two!
