  • I travelled to Séte with a friend and we both had an extraordinary great stay in Christines appartment! First of all Christine was a pleasure to deal with. She was very reliable, caring and kind, also during our mail exchange and booking and at site during our stay. The appartment is perfectly located in Séte and has everything you need, plus: This beautiful view and the balcony. It's clean, neat and lovely. Christine is a very well prepared host and provided all kind of information and help and we had the feeling we could have always call here, in case it might have been needed. We had a lovely time and will definitly come back again.

  • The view from Christine's apartment is truly panoramic, with views over the open sea (including the daily treat of the sunrise), and the interesting comings and goings of boats in this working fishing harbour. It is only a short walk to the restaurants and cafes along the canal Royal, the shops and the great market. Stone steps up the hillside at the rear of the block take you up to the quieter streets on the slope of Mont St Clair, away from the bustle of the waterfront road. The no. 3 bus stops outside, with a regular service to the railway station (Sete is great itself, and a good base for visiting other places by train).
Christine is a friendly, caring person, and great company - we met up for a drink at her favourite bar during our stay. She kindly met us off an evening train when we arrived, and took us back to the station when we left. She gave us useful information on Sete, including a great restaurant (Chez François) and boulangerie.
The apartment is perfect for two people, with a small but cosy bedroom at the back, and a pretty, open plan kitchen/living area and dining balcony, full of light - and with that view! The kitchen is well equipped, including useful cooking basics.
We had lovely relaxing stay in Christine's apartment, were delighted to meet her, and certainly recommend staying there.

  • Christine's apartment is awesome. Our favorite airbnb in France. Christine met us as scheduled and helped get a great parking spot and get our luggage in. We both loved the balcony and views of the harbor. Everything we needed for our brief stay was there and we would stay there again if we get back to Sete.

  • Christine is a wonderfully welcoming host and her apartment, although compact, is beautiful and perfectly positioned to explore Sète. The view of harbour from the balcony is one of the best in town. You can watch the sunrise over the med and be fascinated by the coming and goings of the fishing boats all day long. I would recommend any couple looking for a romantic, bijou pied á terre on the coast, to stay with Christine.

  • Christine (email hidden)e responded quickly to all our queries and went out of her way to meet and greet us and show us around the apartment, as well as coming to say farewell.

The apartment is very small and quite basic in style. However, unless you are looking for luxury, spacious accommodation, and have lots of baggage, it is quite adequate. The bathroom has a clean toilet and shower with plenty of hot water, and the kitchen has enough equipment to make simple stove top meals. basic supplies like salt, pepper, oil, washing up liquid and tea towels, made catering vey much easier than in many self catering units. The washing machine was also a big bonus. There was also a selection of beach "gear" which is (website hidden) in the bedroom is limited, but workable if you unpack into the wardrobes and put the cases under the bed.

The great selling point of the apartment is it's location ( right on the harbor) and the balcony which looks out over the boats to the sea. We were delighted to spend most of our time just sitting and watching. The balcony is big enough to eat on and has an umbrella to provide shade in the morning sun. although it is always light and bright in the apartment, the sun moves off the front of the building later in the day, and this is excellent as it stops the apartment from overheating even on really sunny days.

The area is just full of good reasonably priced seafood restaurants. We particularly liked Chez Francoise as recommended by Christine.

Parking can be tricky, but it is available on the local streets and Christine was extremely helpful in guiding us to good spots. she assured us that it was safe to leave the car on the streets, and indeed we found this to be the case.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Christine's apartment, and recommend it to others, so long as they understand that its size limitations and can celebrate it's best features.

She was very flexible with times for checking in and checking out and she was always very kind. We will absolutely hold on to her email address so we can go back to visit again!

  • Kamel, Christine's husband was so kind. He met us at the station and took us to the apartment. On the day we left he also took us back to the station. There were thoughtful items left like olive oil, tea and coffee etc. The apartment, though fairly old, has everything you need and has a really good view of the harbour and busy street below. The bedroom was a bit cramped and not too comfortable, but, the balcony, the view and Sete were great. We enjoyed our stay and it was a real pleasure to meet Kamel.
