Check In
  • Kevin's place was great! Very funky, a charming space, with a very comfortable bed. Kevin graciously met us and oriented us around the city, leaving great suggestions for us. It is a great base of operations for anyone looking explore Kansas City off the beaten path. We had a great time!

  • Kevin was a great host. I arranged this at the last minute and he was very accommodating and helpful about both checking in and checking out. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the location of the place was very convenient for getting to the convention center.

  • Kevin's a warm host with a unique property in KC. Kevin provided breakfast yogurt, bars and juice and generally made an effort to make me feel welcome. Heating in the old house is a bit uneven and some of the plumbing needs work, but overall a great stay, happy to have been connected with Kevin.

  • Kevin was great! We drove in late from Omaha because our daughter was sick, but he was waiting for us. The house was pretty cool - clean, eclectic, and the room we stayed in on the 3rd floor was amazing. The shower was an experience in and of itself! Kevin was a great host, and Susan was awesome as well. I would definitely stay here again.

  • The house is big and welcoming, with quirky touches and a comfortable feel. The host, Kevin, is a delightful goofball and very friendly. He was a great resource in finding the best places to visit in KC.
We had a great visit, and made a great friend!

  • Kevin is an amazing host and his place was wonderful. The top floor is the most luxurious, but the others are also great, and the entire house is really nicely decorated - kind of a vibrant, colourful, New Orleans feel to it.

Kevin could not have been more helpful in terms of making me feel welcome and introducing the area to me - he even offered to lend me his bike to get around as well as providing all of the small touches that make an Airbnb stay so great, like a light breakfast etc.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Kansas City.

  • Really cool old house! Great host. He brought munchies one night, and let me borrow his bicycle!

  • We enjoyed the bohemian digs that accompanied the legendary monsoon shower - which lived up to its billings.

Kevin is a good host and we were well provided for.

We got good advice about Kansas City, which we were visiting for the first time.

A bit alt, but the better for it.

  • Awesome and super spacious room and was lucky enough to enjoy an awesome breakfast while I was there too. It's a great location with the bus right by and some interesting drinking and food venues in walking/stumbling distance. Would stay again

Entrepreneur, Urban Dandy
I'm an urban dandy and march to my own path. I always jump at a chance to go to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art (free yoga in the Park on lovely Sundays!), explore the city that I love and share it with new friends. Especially the off-the beaten-path shopping, for you little boutique and vintage loving peeps out there. Also, I love to cook and most importantly to eat! Mostly vegetarian/vegan/local, but I will try anything and love flavors of all kinds. When I have time, I like to go out dancing. Making true connections with people and being a good host are important things to me- and I look forward to doing both with our new Air B n B buds. Live-in host for late night/early mornings is Bianca.
