The Costa Rican people are so friendly and helpful.
There is a local bus that goes back and forth to the town of Sitio de Mata and the city of Turrialba 4 times a day.
Respect the house and natural surroundings.
Great location & views, friendly and prompt responses from host. Interesting and large house with lots of games, movies and books! Host had a local guide connection that was also very nice and helpful with bookings!
Wow! Turrialba is one of the most gorgeous places in Costa Rica! This picture is quite literally the incredible view out the main living room window. The views from all sides of the home were stunning. This home is large and spacious with lots of fun things to do (pool, ping pong, foos ball, and swimming). A perfect place to go if you are in the mood to relax and hang out around the home. Our time there was brief, but we enjoyed it immensely! Great porches on which to read and bird watch.
Take plenty of your own food as there is only a small pulperia up the road. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook all meals. The owner, Libby, was very responsive to emails and very fair. And Tatiana, the woman that helped us at the home, was very kind. Highly recommend!
The house is very large and pleasant with supplies and good average comfort, little pool too.
The access to the house may requires a 4x4, it is very steep!
The view from the house is also gorgeous, see photos.
The Toucans, Hummingbirds, Montezumas, and more ... are waiting for you! (unfortunately we not seen parrots during our stay).
We spent days in peace with the nature, good stay.
The house is quite big and perched on a hill with a gorgeous view. The local tour guide, the neighbor, was incredibly helpful, as was the housekeeper. We enjoyed the stay.
The place is wonderful and the house very confortable.
The only concern is the access to the house that could be difficult if you come with an ordinary car.
We recommend it.
