Anchored for 165 years in the Jacques-Cartier Valley, my warm ancestral home overlooks a breathtaking landscape that flows through this majestic curved river of a state forest. It's warm in winter and cool in summer!

The space
Located 30 minutes from Old Quebec, I offer 3 bedrooms for a total of 6 people. My ancestral home is part of an estate of more than 70 acres where the summit of Mount Lea culminates offering a magnificent panorama of the Jacques Cartier Valley. It is typical of 19th-century architecture where pastoral life combining agriculture and livestock predominated. We are very close to the National Park (2 km along the river) and Tewkesbury is the northern limit for agriculture. Of course built in wood of the country, it is spacious (four bedrooms upstairs) with a large open area on the ground floor (kitchen, dining, living room). In addition, a summer kitchen on two floors makes the most of the sunshine. A large bathroom (on your feet) allows you to relax with, once again, a magnificent view of the Valley.

Where you’ll be

Stoneham et Tewkesbury, Québec, Canada

Tewkesbury is a hamlet located 15 minutes from Stoneham. Often called "Little Switzerland of Quebec" because of its bucolic panorama, there is no trade and it is the calm and tranquility that predominates.

During your stay

An anthropologist by training, and a teacher by profession (Cégep), good communication is at the heart of my concerns. Perfectly trilingual (Spanish), you can count on me regardless of your plans. I've been living in Tewkesbury for 25 years, passionate about nature and culture and pretty well connected. However, if I know how to be true, I also cultivate a discretion that will be appreciated by those who seek a certain privacy.
