This was my very first airbnb experience and I must say Angela was a awesome host. I was greeted at the gate with a friendly smile and a warm hug. Upon entering the cottage Angela surprised with me with a bouquet of South Africa's traditional Protea flowers and a birthday card. She and her husband were very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend this place as it in a secret gem nested minutes from city centre'.
Lovely apartment with an amazing view over cape town!
The owner is even more lovely - they care about their guests very much and help them with every question.
In the apartment is everything you need for a wonderful stay - better than a hotel.
We enjoyed it very much to meet Angela and stay at her wonderful garden Cottage.
Thanks a lot!
There's arriving at a place, and then there's arriving at what feels like home. This experience was the latter. Angela and her husband, Feisal, could not have been more welcoming, gracious and engaging, and generally kind. I only wish I'd had more time on this trip to spend with them.
I needed a same day booking and Angela was very responsive and accommodating. When I first arrived, Angela and her son were there to greet me. Then, peeping from around the door, came the biggest welcome of all from Angela's grandson. This bundle of unbridled energy and impishness with this juice-stained smile that almost reached from ear to ear. (NOTE: I can't guarantee their grandson sighting will be part of your package.)
After inviting me in for juice and a chat, Angela grabbed the keys and showed me to the cottage. It was perfect. It was beautiful, clean, well appointed and was even stocked with breakfast stuff, fruit and coffee/teas fixings. The property itself has magnificent views, is both scenic and centrally located with the mountains right behind it with a key controlled security gate for the parking area. The neighborhood is lively, with restaurants in walking distance, and it felt safe.
SA is truly a magical place and I'm already making plans for my next trip there. Without hesitation, I'd recommend staying here and reaching out to Angela. I know I will. :-)
We had such a great time the location was really handy and with great views. Both Angela and Faisal were so welcoming and made us feel like we were staying with family.
Angela has a great place "the White House" very close to Cape Town city center. We had a great stay there. Angela went over and above what was advertise and helped accommodate us the best she could. I definitely recommend her place to anyone traveling to Cape Town! Thanks Angela!
This was our first experience of Airbnb and it could not have been better. The property, a former granny annexe to the owner's house, is superbly located close to downtown and the Waterfront, and has a sunny terrace overlooking the port with Robben Island in the distance. Angela and Faisal could not have been more welcoming or more flexible hosts. We arrived at 9.00 straight from an overnight flight from London. We were offered a bedroom and bathroom to freshen up and breakfast (although we were happy just to have coffee). When we got into the property, we found it extremely well stocked with basics like milk, eggs and fruit, obviating the need for a immediate visit to the supermarket. Angela and Faisal are both charming, and have interesting stories to tell about their, and ther families', experiences under apartheid. All in all, a great start to a holiday in a wonderful city.
We had a great stay in Cape Town. The location is wondeful and all points of interest can be reached quickly.
The accomodation was perfect for us and our 4 months old son.
Angela and her husband were the most gracious hosts unobtrusive but very welcoming. Our little boy already misses them.
