A two-room apartment located at the very HEART of Palermo SoHo! Guests love the location and the character of the place. Plus, being a traveler myself I love hosting people from all over so I will make sure you have a great stay!
The apartment is located in a perfect spot: Nicaragua and Gurrachaga Street. This is the very HEART of Palermo Soho! I have lived in this apartment myself for over eight years and have throughly enjoyed this location. You go downstairs and you are right in the middle of an amazing scene: charming coffee shops, great restaurants, cool bookshops, funky designer shops, bars, health food stores...and you've got an invaluable aspect to consider in BA: It's a safe area when you come back home in the small hours!
It's a two-room apartment, 45 sq meters long, with a large balcony overlooking the charming cobblestoned Gurruchaga Street. It's got a comfortable living room with a sofa -with one single size bed- a bedroom with a queen size bed and air-conditioning, a colourful kitchen with a small laundry space attached to it and a bathroom with a shower and bathtub. All the rooms have windows to the outside, which makes it a very bright and airy place. The decor is the product of my own style: colourful and with small, subtle touches.
Everybody says they feel at home here so I guess one of the best things I like about the apartment is the great vibes that are in the air!

Priscila and her friend were super welcoming, the flat was very nice and located perfectly in the middle of Palermo. We felt like home, everything we needed was there (incl. public transport tickets, guides etc.) and Pris was of great help for tips and advise during our stay. I can highly recommend this flat in Palermo as its surrounded by bars, nice shops and one of the few places in Buenos Aires were you really feel safe!
This apartment is in an excellent location - just a couple of blocks from Plaza Serrano but yet not too noisy there. The apartment is spacious and though simply furnished, it is very comfortable, and has a nice balcony. This being summer in Buenos Aires, the weather was fairly hot and humid on a couple of days but the air-conditioners were very effective. The wifi works great..I'm sure it would be perfectly adequate even for heavy use such as working remotely for the office, although we did not use it for that purpose. The living room is stocked with an eclectic selection of books, and even though I had brought along books to read on this trip, I instead found myself reading an excellent book of short stories from Priscila's collection!
The only (and I really do mean ONLY) area that is in need of improvement is the bathtub area in the bathroom - there were some sections of black spots or growth that made it look very unattractive.
This review would be incomplete without a mention of the hosts and their extremely helpful nature. Priscila was traveling and we did not meet her, but her communication was excellent and she put us in touch with her friend Poppy, who was just as responsive and available. We were traveling to Uruguay for the 3 days prior to our scheduled check-in, and Poppy very helpfully agreed to hold a couple of our bags for us at her apartment so that we could travel light. When we arrived, she and her boyfriend met us at the apartment (bringing our bags with them!) for a late check-in at 10 pm. There was a problem with the stove in the kitchen, and they had it fixed promptly the next morning. Even though we ended up not cooking during our stay, it was nice that the issue was given immediate attention. Our flight out of Buenos Aires was at 10 pm, and once again Poppy was very helpful, allowing us to checkout as late as 6 pm, thus allowing us to make the most of our last day in the city.
I highly recommend the hosts and this apartment.
We had 4 wonderful weeks in Pricillas apartment. You get in a good mood, when you stay in rooms, with such nice colours. The place is clean, you can hear the cars driving by, but there is not too much trafic and we slept fine and we are very sensitive to noise. Pricilla called regularly to hear if everything was fine and all communication went without any problems. The area feels safe, so we walked home late at night. Because of the low built houses, the trees and the coppled roads you do not feel you are in a big city. We are sure that we want to stay here again , when we come back.
Priscilla and Poppy are an excellent hosts! Poppy was on time to meet us, provided advice about local places and quickly responded to my whatsapp messages.
The apartment was clean, welcoming and provided everything we needed. It was in the heart of the palermo soho neighborhood which contains restaurants, bars, yoga studios, shops and more.
I would certainly recommend this listing.
Pricilla and her friend Poppy were very accommedating before and during our stay and spoke very good English. We where three girls living in the apartment. The apartment was very sweet, and the pictures where accurate. It was equipped with everything we needed, and we also decided to stay an extra day here. What really makes this apartment an excellent choice for staying in Palermo is location! Just around the corner you find some many choices for cafes, restaurants, bars and botiques, and the neighbourhood feels very safe! And thanks for making guidebooks available for us during our stay.
We had a wonderful time in Priscilla's place! She was wonderful before and during our stay. She was also very available during our stay with whatsapp. Her apartment is delightful. Comfy, beautiful and it has a perfect balcony for drinking wine, listening to music and watching people on the street. The apartment is in a perfect location- the heart of Palermo which has wonderful shops, food, and just plain beautiful streets. I would love stay again!
I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, a city I find fascinating and that keeps surprising me. I have been fortunate to travel to many parts of the world, yet, my base camp has always been here. I think Buenos Aires has a special way of enchanting people, everytime I plan on leaving it for while, it always tempts me into a new adventure...
