Ground floor studio/1 bedroom with access to a private garden.
The garden is glorious because you dont feel like you are in manhattan.
The apartment is 4 blocks from the L train and 2 block from the bus.
Both can take you to Union Square in 2 stops.
Feel free to entertain your friends or relatives in the garden but please be respectful if it happens to be late at night since there are neighbors in the adjacent buildings.

My refrigerator is usually stocked with beer and other essentials.
Feel free to help yourself.
I have a projector that is connected to a boxee box so you can watch Netflix and other internet shows.

comfortable apartment in a great NYC location.
The reservation was canceled 9 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had all the essentials in Michael's place. We were three guests, and we were able to sleep separately . One in the bed, one in the sofa and the third in an air mattress that was kindly provided. The area is full of cheap diners and the subway station-(L train that connects you with all the rest via Union Square)-was a couple of blocks away. The patio is nice, but because it was freezing we didn't get to enjoy it. There's a very cute and friendly cat roaming outside that tried to get into the place every time the door was open. ;-)
Michael's apartment has a great location and is superb for a young couple or a single guest who do not really care about the homelike comfort. It is a bir overloaded with Michael's personal staff which doesn't leave too much space for a guest.
But Michael himself is a great and helpful host, who did everything to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. Thanks indeed.
Michaels apartment is perfectly situated for a fun NY experience . Check in and check out were really easy and the bathroom was clean. Best coffee just round the (email hidden) Espresso and it's a brilliant vibrant and safe neighbourhood to walk around at all hours. There is a lot of "stuff" in the apartment but that kind of comes in handy when you need something as you can usually find it. The month old milk in the fridge was a bit of an unwelcome surprise but really, the place was a great place to come home to and sleep. Very quiet and I felt very safe. The garden is an added bonus.
Great apt in a great location, close to L line subway and lots of restaurants around. Check-in was a breeze and Juan (who gave us they keys) was very friendly and helpful. The apt itself was very well equipped and the backyard was a great place to unwind.
Had a great stay at the apartment. Didn't use the garden much as this really cute cat seemed to always manage to sneak into the apartment when the door is open (I'm allergic to cats) everything was as advertised, clean and spacious. Thank you
Overall we had a good time staying in Michael’s apartment. The location is great; close to restaurants, cafes and the subway. We loved exploring Alphabet City and surrounds. The apartment is spacious and decked out with everything you could need, and some things you don’t. It was clean but quite cluttered (a bit more than is indicated by the photos) – definitely a space for people who are comfortable with other people’s stuff. Michael was easy to communicate with. We had a small issue with his friend Juan when we were arranging to get the keys, which was unfortunate, but Michael sorted that out for us very promptly.
This apartment is in a good neighborhood. I've only visited New York a few times before and always in the Times-Square (touristy) area. This is a great alternative to get more of a local feel. Just walk out the front door to find nice cafes or markets nearby with no long lines. Also, the subway is just a couple of blocks away.
The apartment was comfortable and neat. Michael's associate was there to meet me and show me the place. Everything was as advertised, no surprises. When I return to New York, I would definitely stay here again.
Overall good experience dealing with Michael and staying in his apartment. The place is exactly as it looks in the photos. Good size for 2 people. Bed is comfortable & shower is good and powerful. We didn't cook at all but looks like the apt has everything needed. We also didn't use the shared garden but only because we didn't spend much time in the apt at all. It's a large shared paved yard with plenty of seating & tables. Didn't see anyone else out there. Apt location was perfect for us. Loads of bars nearby, nice cafe next door and only 2 blocks from L Train. Didn't meet Michael but he arranged for someone (friendly guy) to meet us even though we got in late in the evening and 'checking out' was very straight-forward.
