The Space

Ground floor studio/1 bedroom with access to a private garden.
The garden is glorious because you dont feel like you are in manhattan.

The apartment is 4 blocks from the L train and 2 block from the bus.
Both can take you to Union Square in 2 stops.

Feel free to entertain your friends or relatives in the garden but please be respectful if it happens to be late at night since there are neighbors in the adjacent buildings.

If you want to smoke please do it out in the garden so as to not have the apartment smell of smoke.

I have a couch and an air mattress if needed to accomodate more guests.

My refrigerator is usually stocked with beer and other essentials.
Feel free to help yourself.

I have a projector that is connected to a boxee box so you can watch Netflix and other internet shows.

The heat gets hot at times you can turn it off with the valve.
There is an additional portable heater if needed.

If you have any questions please dont hesitate to message me

  • The apartment is very spacious. The courtyard in the back is really nice, and the neighbors who share it are friendly. The neighborhood is great, there's always something to do & there are a lot of nice little parks around every corner. Michael is a very nice host, easy to reach, and even went out of his way to send a friend over so I could pick up keys early. I'd definitely recommend this place.

---------- ENGLISH ------------- Apartment located between the 14th and Avenue B, in the southeast of Manhattan, 15 -20min of the main tourist spots, enough for a short stay in New York with 3-4 friends.

  • I had a great time staying at michael studio. Although, we did not meet. He was available via text or phone. The outdoor garden was spacious, just wish the weather was warmer to enjoy the space. I stayed 4 nights in a safe neighborhood. Many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I would stay here (email hidden)

  • Michael was very easy to communicate with. The apartment has a really great location and it’s comfortable for two people. We didn’t use the patio because of the snow, but seems to be very nice. The area is full diners and the subway station was a couple of blocks away. The only bad thing is that the apartment was overloaded with Michael’s personal stuff which doesn’t leave too much space to organize yours.

Review: My calendar was unfortunately not up to date and I cancelled Igor's
booking shortly after he booked on the site to make sure he could book
another listing in time. The message/comment that was left was an automated

  • We had all the essentials in Michael's place. We were three guests, and we were able to sleep separately . One in the bed, one in the sofa and the third in an air mattress that was kindly provided. The area is full of cheap diners and the subway station-(L train that connects you with all the rest via Union Square)-was a couple of blocks away. The patio is nice, but because it was freezing we didn't get to enjoy it. There's a very cute and friendly cat roaming outside that tried to get into the place every time the door was open. ;-)

  • Michael's apartment has a great location and is superb for a young couple or a single guest who do not really care about the homelike comfort. It is a bir overloaded with Michael's personal staff which doesn't leave too much space for a guest.
But Michael himself is a great and helpful host, who did everything to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. Thanks indeed.

  • Michaels apartment is perfectly situated for a fun NY experience . Check in and check out were really easy and the bathroom was clean. Best coffee just round the (email hidden) Espresso and it's a brilliant vibrant and safe neighbourhood to walk around at all hours. There is a lot of "stuff" in the apartment but that kind of comes in handy when you need something as you can usually find it. The month old milk in the fridge was a bit of an unwelcome surprise but really, the place was a great place to come home to and sleep. Very quiet and I felt very safe. The garden is an added bonus.
