Our apartment is just a few blocks away from the nearest tram station, we get to be in the city without the turmoil and noise! The room has its own entrance from the rear and an ensuite bathroom full of towels and toiletries. Try it!
The sofa/bed, it's made in Ikea. I've told it's very comfy though a bit small. Check the description for exact measures.
The room we're renting can accommodate 1 person or 2 very in love people. The bed is an IKEA couch/bed and it's 120cm (48') wide. The room is tiny but the bed is quite comfy and you get all the necessary space you need for your stuff (besides, there's also the rest of the house for that).
The room has an ensuite bathroom therefore the bathroom is not shared.
We don't provide breakfast but there are a few venues (Martynez is the poshest one) that serve cappuccino, espresso, croissants and salty treats.
You have access to our rear area which can be quite nice during the summer. You have your own private access to the house so, basically, if you wish to have a lot of privacy you don't even have to leave your room. Of course you can use the kitchen and the washing machine (especially long-distance travellers).
Interaction with Guests
I like to interact with my guests, that's the primary reason why I'm on airbnb!! I love to give information about my city and the area I live in. I think Florence is a wonderful little town and I'm both proud and happy that so many people come to visit every year.
Isolotto is a relatevily new area of the city. It was built in the 1950s by mayor LaPira. Today a lot of families live here, the area is very green and it's just a step away from the Cascine park: an ideal spot to relax, drink a beer, take a walk or go skating. The centre is still very close, just 25 minutes on foot. In the morning you hear birds tweeting out of the window and the room you'll stay in is showered with light in the afternoon.
Yes! The tram station is 5 minutes away and that's the most used means of transport. But you can also walk to the city centre, it only takes 25 minutes and the walk is priceless (in more than one sense)
Other Things to Note
We have wi-fi access and no animals (we're allergic to pets' hairs). We like to have a glass of wine and a good meal (in this order!)
We like relaxed, calm people with little or no sound system attached. We like animals but we're allergic so our four-legged friends cannot stay here. We also don't smoke in the house and neither should you, but you have an outdoor area just for that, so that's no big problem.
Good location. Only take 10 minutes to get tramway station which can take u to everywhere of the city. Everything is prefect. Recommend.

Our stay in Florence was wonderful thanks to Fabrizio and Pippo. They received us gladly with a coffee and a printed sheet with important informations and great tips to better enjoy Florence. They are highly sympha.
The room is very clean, with a private bathroom. It also has a separate access to the outside, allowing greater freedom of movement. But often we share the kitchen with them and had good conversations.
The location where the apartment is on the banks of the Arno river, is very beautiful and peaceful; but it's super easy to get to downtown.
As you have seen from previous reviews, this guy is amazing. We had a fabulous time at Fab's place. He was super accommodating and friendly. I chatted with him multiple times throughout our stay. The room is awesome with your own private bath, location is great. It was a 20 minute walk to the center, and there is plenty to see along the way. Florence was amazing but where I stayed made it even better. If I stay in Florence again, I would stay with Fabrizio.
We had a great stay at Fabrizio's place! He was there when we arrived, explained on the map how to get to the city centre fast, gave some really good tips! The apartment is walking distance from the main attractions of Florence but you can also take a tram. The apartment and our bedroom were lovely, very clean and full of light. Would highly recommend!
Fabrizio was a wonderful host and this literally is the best experience I've had to date on Airbnb (and there have been several great ones)! From the moment I arrived, he sat down with me and went through all of the sights I can't miss in Florence as well as made some great restaurant recommendations. The apartment itself was beautiful and very clean, and the room was perfect. It has a great location as well (only a short tram ride away from the city center). Fabrizio and Filippo are warm, friendly, and great conversationalists and I learned so much about Florence and Italy in general from them! I would highly recommend staying here!
Hello everybody! I'm a very outgoing person and I enjoy people's company. I'm an English teacher and also a translator. I speak Italian (of course!), English, Spanish and French. I love my house, it's in this area of Florence called Isolotto which is very green and almost village-like. There's an open air market for fruit and vegetables, a few primary and secondary shools and just over the "passerella" (an only-pedestrian bridge) there's the Cascine park: a wonderful area where concerts, festivals and parties are held in the summer.
I like travelling (like you, I guess), I've been to England, Spain, Greece, France, the US, and I think that travelling is a great way to know other people and be aware of our differencies and similarities.
An important part of my life is food. I love pasta, pizza and potatoes, yeah, quite fatty these days... what do you like?
