My stay in Pat's lovely home was all I hoped for. My room was large, comfortable and quiet. The bus to downtown was easily accessible, and there were many choices of restaurants within walking distance of "home". Pat was welcoming, warm and yet not imposing. She made sure all my needs were tended to. I highly recommend her b&b to all!
The accommodations were spacious and clean, and Pat was lovely! So friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. She also keeps a guide of local restaurants and attractions for those who aren't familiar with the area. It's a little further out of the heart of the east side than I realized when I booked it, but if you have access to a car (or taxi) it's not inconvenient at all.
My experience with the host was fantastic! She was very amiable, personable and diligent in making sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. She provided information that was helpful for getting around; restaurants in the area, the bus schedule, numbers for cabs, sight-seeing ideas and other small services of detail that could be appreciated by someone completely unfamiliar with the area. She was as much and as little company as I desired. The room was more than I expected and even equipped with items I may have forgotten to pack. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. Great place! If in the area again, I would stay there in a heartbeat!
Pat was absolutely wonderful as was her charming suite, replete (email hidden), parking, a convenient location, a spa-like restroom...even bed-side spring water. Highly recommended.
My family and I stayed at Pat's place over Brown Graduation weekend and we are so glad we did! Pat's house is super cozy and comfortable! Since she is an artist, there were lots of beautiful works of art on her walls, and the grand piano was available for us to play on if we wanted. Pat was really helpful with any information we might need and ready to advise us on good places to eat (one of which was just around the corner!) We loved the breakfast she provided, lots of fresh fruits, different kinds of bagels, breads and yoghurts. If we would ever need to be in Providence again, we would not hesitate to stay at her place!
Our host was uninstrusive and a very attentive. The experience for such a long stay of 2 weeks was excellent. The accommodation was clean and comfortable for three adults in two bedrooms. The location is centrally located just of Hope street close to bus transport.
Pat is a very gracious hostess, makes one feel like family while in her home. She only rents out one room, provides breakfast fixings, cereals, fruit, coffee, etc. Her driveway was available for night-time parking, so staying with her was very easy, very convenient.
The room was quite spacious, with its own bathroom, including a nice shower. The bed was very comfortable.
This one has definitely been my best experience with Airbnb.
Pat is a superb host: kind, extremely reliable and helpful.
The atmosphere of the house is amazing: not only clean and tidy but full of character, wonderful artistic objects and unbelievably cosy and warm.
In the room there is a booklet with all the information you need about the house and Providence and with many maps and brochures,
The neighborhood is quite, nice and full of restaurants (all different regarding prices and specialities). The location is also very handy if you need to reach Brown University and downtown.
I highly recommend Pat's place!
Really wonderful experience! Miss Pat is so nice and her house is perfectly furnitured, I really feel like home. There are also some really good decorations and some paintings and photos are just her own works. Highly recommended!!!!
