The stay with Pat was an unforgettable one. It was like staying with a close relative. She had been so helpful in many areas!!! I had enjoyed my stay with her and had been pamper with great beddings, fluffy towels and plushy bath towels. Morning breakfast was a good start for the day at her cozy home. Thank you for being such a wonderful and thoughtful host.
Pat's place was perfect for my husband, myself and our grown son. The neighborhood was close to good restaurants as well as being a good walking area. The accommodations were exactly as listed and very clean and comfortable.
Pat was extraordinarily generous with her breakfast food, coffee and juices. And she always asked us if there was anything else we needed. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Providence.
Pat's place combines the accommodations of a five star hotel with the coziness of home. My boyfriend and i had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting providence or RI in general. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and well-supplied, and Pat even provided breakfast each morning! The neighborhood had plenty of great restaurants and Pat provides a binder of recommendations for starters. A+, thank you Pat!
She was a very generous and kind host. This was our first Airbnb experience, and we loved it. She helped us figure out our transportation to the places we wanted to go and gave us great suggestions.
Over all I had a very nice stay with Pat's host for four days in Providence. I think I will rent it again next time I visit Providence.
I used to live in Providence for 6 years and I went back there for a reunion with my friend. From my personal experience I would say the place is in one of the best neighborhood in Providence. It's right in the up-hope community with a lot of good restaurants and very nice people. It's only 5 mins driving to Brown and 8 mins driving to PVD downtown.
Pat's place is very cozy, it gives you a home-like feeling. The room is well prepared as a nice hotel room. I often stayed in Wydham hotel near the river when I went back to Providence and I can say thay for a 1/2 price Pat's room is even nicer than the Wydham room.
Another plus one is Pat provides nice breakfasts in very clean kitchen that make your morning like home.
Mrs Edwards was a most amiable host for our stay of 3 nights. She was available to answer questions about the what and where in Providence and pointed us in the right direction for a special arts festival which we would otherwise have missed. At the same time there was never a moment when wished to have more privacy.
The rooms were great, and especially the 'Large Room' is indeed wonderfully spacious. The bathroom was clean and well-supplied, everything worked just fine. Every morning a carefully prepared breakfast awaited us.
The location is in a quiet, pleasant residential street, but only two minutes away from several good neighborhood restaurants, a CVS, bank, laundry and grocery shopping.
Thank you, Pat! It was a perfect stay and we hope to return!
We felt like we belonged in the house and neighborhood. This was very close to where our kids lived and very near Hope Street which we have gown to know. We recently had the addition of a new grandson and already had a 2 1/2 y/o grandson.
About the Host, Pat
Summer is finally here . Flowers blooming in pots on the deck. A refreshing and welcomed change from our snowy winter landscape! Summer quilts now grace the beds and heirloom tomatoes are in their pots and waiting for the warm sunny days ahead.
I'm not a lot of things. Not the coolest person around. Don't have tattoos or multiple piercings but there is wifi and always a cup of hot coffee or iced tea around....and usually a half-finished piece of art work or something cookin'. Happy to share or point you in the direction of something interesting to do. Plenty of good music around town. Exceptional restaurants, several just around the corner. Many new exhibits at the RISD Museum to check out. Great public art in Downton to scout out. It's simple. Location, location, location in a great neighborhood....and nice people!!!
