The place was very clean, including refrigerator, beds, bathrooms and had everything we needed for our trip. I'd describe it as a large suite and a small hotel room connected with a door i.e no common living room area. We had shared time in the larger room which had the kitchen area and plenty of 'hanging out' space. Both rooms had full bath, fridge and sink, larger had a electric stove.
As described, the view was excellent. We could see the beach, Diamond Head and all up and down the Alawai canal; esp nice at night! Parking was a little tricky the first time as you are on a one way street and had to leave the car (2nd driveway was best) to get the key from a lock box. The lock box was a little tricky but pushing down on a button on the back panel seemed to fix it.
There was also a small to go place downstairs and a shop for necessities and 7-11 within walking distance.
Roger was super speedy in responding to my request for the place (I'd say less than an hour!) which was a life saver. I'd definitely stay here again.
The views were amazing in this condo. The windows slide open and the fresh breeze spreads through the room. This is not a fancy condo. It is extremely functional and did the job. My parents wished the room was not so bright in the morning. I think it's fine because who comes to Hawaii to sleep? The rooms being separate gave us the privacy that we needed. The location is perfect!
This place was perfect for what we needed. Within walking distance to our job in Royal Hawaiian Center. Loved being on 35th floor and looking out over the city.
From start to finish Roger was very helpful with check in and answering any questions we had. The apartment was a great location, right near the main shopping and restaurant district and it was just a short walk to the beach. Parking was available in the building at an additional cost of 20$ a day (they only take cash) but it was convenient to be able to park in the same building. There is no living room, it is more like 2 studio apartments with kitchenettes in each one, but we found it worked well for our group of 2 couples. Would reccommend
Clean small place with great view. Roger and his staff were very accommodating. Location is close to Waikiki and downtown.
We enjoyed our stay at this rental. Roger was very helpful and responded quickly to us. My husband and I took the larger room and our friend took the attached unit and it was perfect for our trip situation. We enjoyed the fact that we were able to close the doors to our own rooms or keep them open to join them. The building is older and located near the end of the main strip, but everything was pretty much walking distance or a short cab ride! We rented a car and drove to the North Shore and swam with Sea Turtles (highly recommend making the trip)! The only "complaints" we really have is that the blinds are merely for visual privacy. It was so bright in the room in the morning that you can't sleep in. (Obviously you don't go to Waikiki to sleep in, but getting away from the sun for a few hours is tough!) The rental was clean when we checked in, except for the floors; sand was everywhere. My only other "complaint" is that there were not enough towels for each unit. My husband and I rented the unit for 5 nights and there were only 4 towels for the entire time. It was ok for such a short trip, but if your planing a longer one, the towel situation is tough. Especially because sand is everywhere. I never found out if there was a wash machine and dryer on property, but I should have! Other than that, the rental exactly as it is describe! Also, this was our very first AirBnB trip! Everything worked out smoothly!
