About this listing
Located in the heart of the Plateau, one of Montreal's hippest neighbourhoods, this charming 2 bedroom apartment, with its 2 floor layout, is sure to capture your heart.
Newly constructed and recently renovated, this home boasts brand new hard wood floors, a fresh paint job, full appliances including washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, microwave oven and la pièce de resistance...a lovely stone, wood-burning fireplace in the center of the main floor. In addition to the lower level's two full bedrooms (equipped with one king size and one queen size bed), the main floor also contains a charming office with delightful nooks and crannies located on a mezzanine level.

Additionally, guests are only steps away from all the eclectic bars, restaurants, shopping and public transportation on Blvd. St. Laurent, Rue St. Denis and Ave, Duluth. There is a Bixi stand (Montreal's public bicycle transport system) right at the front door and the Metro is only 3 blocks away. Amenities such as grocery stores, liquor stores, bakeries, fruit and vegetable shops, and banks are also within a couple of blocks. Additionally, Montreal's "Quartier des Spectacles" (festival district), Old Port, downtown core and several Universities are within walking distance or a short metro ride away.
Guests will have access to wireless internet, cable television with a 32-inch flat screen HDTV, an excellent stereo system, HDMI hook-ups and wires for laptops, iPods and other devices, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a charming back patio.
We like to treat our guests like friends so don't be surprised to find little extras in the kitchen like condiments, spices, coffee, tea and some morning fruit for your first few days. Come experience this lovely locale and enjoy the many benefits it has to offer.

Hello to all,
I am a half urban-half country girl living 6 months per year in the lovely, lively city of Montreal and the other 6 months in the calm, serene, cottage environment of the Laurentian mountains where I work as a wildlife biologist.
When not working, i spend as much time as I can traveling, and have recently moved from doing it hotel style to doing it house rental style. I am just as happy to rent out my home to travelers as I am to borrow someone else's homey space while I am away.
My ideal guests are respectful, responsible, easy-going people who want to enjoy the chill surroundings and country air of the beautiful lower Laurentians, while feeling like they are "at home".
