A beautifully restored 1908 Craftsman house awaits you in the most hip and happening area of Portland, the Alberta Arts District. Just one block back from Alberta, you can walk to all the bars, restaurants and attractions on Alberta. Great access to public transport or use our bike to ride downtown in just 12 minutes.
The house is tastefully decorated with a mix of new and vintage furniture sourced locally here in Portland.
Consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 master bedrooms with new Queen beds and one with twin bunk beds, this property is suited to couples or young families. It has a full bathroom upstairs alongside the 3 bedrooms and a mini bathroom downstairs in the media room.
Downstairs we have a great sitting room with a record player and hand selected "awesome vinyl" to provide the perfect chill zone! We also have a media room out back with a LED flat screen, cable TV and wireless internet and PS3 for those that need to be "connected"!!
We have a great outdoor deck (covered), cubby house, tree house and slide, so you can sip cocktails whilst watching the sunset and have your kids run ragged playing in the backyard. Alternatively, sit in our rocker on the front porch and "shoot the breeze" watching the many and varied cyclists and people walking by.
This really is the heartbeat of "Portlandia" and if you are looking for the ultimate Portland getaway, then you have found the right place! All the best restaurants and bars are within stumbling distance of our beautiful house and this will make for an unforgettable Portland stay.
If you are a family travelling, then this house really is for you. Stretch out with the kids and let them unwind with our toys and games, tree house and cubby out back. Not to mention that our neighbourhood is filled with young families and kids playing in the street. If you want that "family friendly" neighbourhood feel from your Portland stay, then this is for you.
Cheers and we hope you enjoy our house as much as we do.

Guests have access to the whole house, all 3 bedrooms upstairs and a 4th bedroom space in the basement. There is a great entertaining deck outside, cubby house and tree house too!
I live in Australia, so will not personally be on hand to meet guests and interact with them. However, Aaron, our Property Manager and next door neighbour will be there to meet and greet and get you settled. If there is anything you need, Aaron is your man!
Where do you start in Alberta Arts?!! Food trucks, great restaurants, locally owned boutique shops, cool bars, awesome coffee, lush parks are a few blocks away with towering Douglas Fir Trees, the cool Kennedy School conversion is a walk or quick bike ride away and if you want access to downtown or The Pearl, it takes us about 15 minutes on our bikes or 5 minutes by car. Our neighbourhood is very chilled, young families and couples abound and everyone is super friendly and social. The location is amazing with all the cool shops, bars, restaurants and food carts just one block walk away.
Yep, buses run through Alberta, there are bike routes everywhere with access all over the city and we are a 10 minute drive to PDX airport. I like to walk or bike but it is very easy to drive around our parts!

We moved to Portland and stayed here for the first few weeks while we began our search for a more permanent abode. It was the perfect home for us and our 1 1/2 year old. The neighborhood is friendly and just a few steps from great food, drinks, and green space. The clean, comfortable, and stylish space was the perfect soft landing for our new adventure.
Beautiful home in a great neighborhood. Exceeded our expectations.
This home is clean, gorgeous & charming, and the host was helpful and prompt with answering any questions. The location is AMAZING. Only one block from the fun and quirky Alberta street (Arts District). My only disappointment was that it made me jealous that I don't have a gorgeous 100 year old craftsman style home in Portland...but getting to stay there was the next best thing. :)
This was a wonderful house! Best location and extremely clean house. My family loved it and would do it again in a hear beat. It has so much character and plenty of space. kitchen was awesome!!
Great house! We loved the big kitchen and kid's play areas. It was very clean and well provisioned. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a great trip! Two families with small kids traveling up from Eugene to see museums, and the house worked out perfectly. The location was ideal, allowing us to walk out to restaurants, coffee, etc., and the setup of the house was great for kids, with space to play, backyard, and even lots of toys! We were impressed by all the kid-friendly features, even finding things that we had forgotten to bring, like a high-chair.
We're looking forward to staying here as a home-base for exploring Portland in the future!
Ash has a great little home here. It's big and cozy at the same time. Perfect spot for a small get together.
Ash's place is super cute, cozy, and clean. It's a stone's throw away from Alberta St. where you can find plenty of great restaurants and shops. Can't wait to come back when it's not raining so we can play in the adorable treehouse :)
Ash's place is fantastic! I rented the home for thanksgiving dinner with family and friends and we couldn't have asked for a better space. It is a beautiful house inside and out, immaculate and fully stocked with the basics, dinnerware, towels, paper towels etc. My guests were very impressed. Extremely comfortable beds, and the upstairs bathroom reminded me of something you would find in a high end spa. The neighborhood is really fun and you can get a great view of it (and Mt. Hood!) atop the treehouse in the backyard.
Do not think twice about renting, this isn't one to pass by.
This place is AWESOME. Great space. My family were down there to celebrate my cousin's wedding. The house looks recently restored and has all the amenities you would need. Also the Alberta district has really come in to its own with great shops and restaurants. The only draw back was no wireless but we were on vacation.
