We had a great space. It was close to everything and the apartment was spotless. Everything we needed was there. Checking in and out was super easy and the building was very secure.
Would book again without a doubt.
Wonderful place, big two bedroom, clean, great building, has a gym, and a small business conference room. If you need access to a printer, the building leasing office can print something for you. Check in easy, 24 hour doorman. Right next to Chinatown, great restaurants, central location, garage in building was $11 a day. We spent 5 days as tourists, great location for access to metro and all sites. Only negative experience was that it was very cold in DC for April and the apartment was very cold at night, the thermostat did not allow us to go higher. I called the building to complain, but it was not resolved. Other than that, wonderful experience.
I enjoyed my stay here, it was in a good location and easily accessible. It was also very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
A few things though:
1) - The picture of the apartment was not the apartment that I stayed in
2) - The apartment was a little bit under-furnished so it felt a bit empty
3) - The address was actually 1 Emerson, not 10 Emerson
4) - There weren't enough towels in the apartment for a two week stay
5) - I didn't receive any up-to-date information about checking-in, where I could leave my bags, who I should talk to to actually get into the apartment - after I had paid for the apartment.
6) - I'm not sure if it was me and my own ineptitude, but I couldn't get the TV to work, and it looked like there was no way of getting it to work either.
All in all though, it was nice and pleasant.
We had a fantastic trip to Washington D.C. The apartment was clean, comfortable and definitely met our needs. Before our trip, Kitty at Seamless Transition was great at answering any of my questions. We would definitely rent a space through Seamless Transitions again.
Lovely clean studio in a central location. Would recommend!
Patient, helpful, professional -- completely great transaction all around.
The apartment was cozy and exactly as described. The check-in procedures were easy to follow and very convenient. When we needed a hair dryer and could not find one in the apartment, someone came over and delivered one to us and was really nice about it. Thanks!
Kitty and all of the staff from Seamless we interacted with were wonderful; responsive, extremely helpful, and accommodating. Foggy Bottom is an excellent location: close to metro, several buses, and easy walking to the mall, several restaurants within walking distance, and Trader Joe around the corner. The unit is adequate in size and furnishing including an L-shaped large room separated into bedroom area with queen (I think) bed, dresser, 1 night table, and desk, living room with love-seat, coffee table, and TV, and 4 seat dining area. Behind the bedroom area is a walled off "city" kitchen. There are two windows that open, however be aware that there is a great deal of street noise. Luckily this isn't heard when the windows are closed. From the entry hall there is a walk-in closet leading to the bathroom. The main room is entirely carpeted. This unit isn't beautiful (to my taste) but it had everything we needed for a few days stay.
Great spot in a wonderful Back Bay location. Very comfortable accommodations, and we would definitely stay in the Boston Christopher again.
Fantastic location! excellent stay. A perfect home away from home in the best location in DC. Its a short circulator ride from downtown and walking distance to Georgetown, Dupont and Foggy bottom where all the action is. We have a toddler and even though this was a studio apartment it was perfect for the 3 of us. It was fully furnished including the kitchen and if you have kids you know how important that is.
I called in earlier to check about parking and the host, Kitty was very sweet and kind enough to let us check in early so I din't have to wait till the check in time with a baby.
We used to live in Georgetown before so we are sort of used to the noise but being right next to GW hospital was a bit more noisy than we were used to but I do love that about the city so we enjoyed it.
Also very secure building with a security guard round the clock and you can access the building only with a data watch card that is given to you at check in. The security staff were very friendly.
There is a cafe/market in the building downstairs where you can get coffee/breakfast which worked out very well for us since we dint have to go out of the building every time we wanted coffee or water etc.
Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend it for a long business trip/vacation.
