  • Great people, great romantic place. We loved it

  • The studio is very charming, functional and well equipped. The building is very nice, the terrace on the roof is romantic. The neighborhood is very quiet and with all shops that we need.
The only little negative point is the walk to the metro (only 10 minutes but it's difficult after a long day of walk in Roma ;) ).

  • I stayed in Manuela and Vittorio's attic in Rome for three weeks and loved it. The space is well laid out so you do not feel cramped, and is in a great location, with easy access to public transportation. I really liked that it is in a more residential area, so it was very quiet and safe feeling, away from tourist central. There are restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby, if you want something close. Manuela and Vittorio were also very nice, respected my privacy, and were helpful when needed!

  • Manuela was the first person to greet us at the door of the apartment. The doorman was lovely and lead us to the lift up. Manuela lead us through a tour of the apartment, along with the rooftop terrace. There was air conditioning and a sky light which allowed for more airflow if we needed it. Manuela even had cookies, juice, Nutella, and jam waiting for us.

The apartment itself was adorable!! There was a slight issue with the toilet just because we could hear it running at night, but it was really nothing. Vittorio and Manuela helped us with anything we needed, even when we got lost on the way!! They are fantastic hosts and very pleasant people!!

The apartment is about a 10 minute walk from the Lepanto station on the A line of the metro. It was very convenient to the metro line, but outside of any noisy touristy type of areas which is one of the main reasons we loved it! There was a pharmacy and an axing cafe only a couple of blocks from the apartment. There were also a couple of restaurants near it as well. One of our favorites in Rome was right in the round-about.

We would absolutely stay at this apartment again!!!

  • The apartment was very nice and clean. Its located in a very quiet and safe area of the city. We really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again. Thank you, Manuela and Vittorio for a wonderful stay!

  • The apartment is amazingly cosy and clean! It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is at 10-15minutes walk from the nearest subway and there are cafes and grocery stores located nearby. The apartment is located in a residential area so it's pretty quiet and safe.

The hosts are extremely helpful as well! They even helped us with washing our clothes on our first day. Throughout the stay they were easily contactable and replied to all our enquires very promptly!

    Overall an awesome stay!

  • We had a nice stay in Manuela and Vittorio's apartment in Rome! The apartment was exactly as on the pictures, small but perfect for two people. One thing we liked was that when we arrived, there was a bowl of fruit waiting for us and also biscuits. The only thing we didn't like about the apartment was that there wasn't all the basic ingredients for cooking. There was olive oil and salt, but no pepper or other spices. The neighbourhood was quiet with nice cafés and restaurants and it was close to everything. Sadly, we didn't get to meet our hosts but they emailed us during our stay asking if we wanted to wash our clothes, which was really nice considering we were staying a while in Italy. We would have liked to meet them to get hints and tips on what to do in Rome.
Overall, we would highly recommend the apartment because it was perfect for two people and it was exactly as described on the website!

  • A very nice place in a safe non-tourist area, right near RAI office building. The mansard is cozy and has everything you can possibly need. It has a tiny but convenient kitchen. The Internet connection is OK.

The building is 30 min walk from Piazza San Pietro and 20 min walk from Piazza del Popoli. Parco della Musica (the Auditorium) and MAXXI are 20 min walk or 5 min ride by tram, and if you are interested in art and architecture you should definitely go to MAXXI – it’s a museum built by Zaha Hadid. 10-15 min ride the other way are Villa Borghese, Via Veneto and Piazza Barberini. The best way to go to the airport is by taxi – it’s a 40 min ride from the apartment (if you go by metro and express train, it will take you about 1,5-2 hours).

Manuela is a wonderful host, always happy to help. Highly recommended.

  • Manuela's apartment in Prati is amazing! We stayed there for a month and had a fabulous time. It's a bit of walk from the subway station and from the historical sites but since we had a long stay, we could take time to explore the city slowly. Once you get to know the trams and bus lines, you can get to the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese and the Vatican pretty easily.

The Prati area was featured in Anthony Bourdain's show The Layover Rome episode and some of the restaurants in the show are very close to the apartment. Some really good places are Cacio e Pepe, Cafe Settembrini, Cafe Faggiani, Pizzarium, etc.
The area is a very local area, mostly residential with some office/apartments. It's a rich, extremely safe neighborhood, I highly recommend if you want to feel the non-touristy, local culture of Rome.

The apartment itself is full of character. It's on the top floor of the building. The old elevator (the see-through kind! so cool!) takes you up to the fourth floor and then you have to walk up one floor. The apartment is the attic floor so the windows are pretty small and the ceiling gets low on the window side.

The kitchen is really nicely equipped. We work at home so cooked mostly on weekdays. Although the kitchen seems small, it is so well made and equipped, we had much fun cooking.

Manuela was a really nice host. She lives in the next door apartment so she can help you with everything, yet, we both kept each other's privacy. We mostly talked by email if it wasn't urgent matter The washer is not inside this apartment so when we put it out in a laundry basket, the host will do it for you. She was such a professional folder, haha, we felt sorry to make her fold our stuff :) but it was nice having a hotel like service.

Oh the building as nice rooftop where you can see far out to the Typewriter Building and the surrounding mountains. It was really nice to have big rooftops in the sun.

    Greatly recommended!
