  • I loved my stay at Christina's! She' a super nice person, very chilled and respectfull with your privacy, and always ready to help!
It was like having my own apartment. There's a big living room with a large flat screen TV outside the bedroom.
It was very cozy! Totally reccomend it!

  • Very nice person who values guest privacy highly. Space is as described and the neighborhood is very safe. I do not know about public transport as I drive to the city

  • Christina's private room with separate bedroom and private half bath was perfect for my stay in Brooklyn. Christina was a wonderful Host, most pleasant and very accommodating. I found the space exactly what I needed, clean and comfortable. Also, as a woman traveling alone, I felt quite safe in it's location. Thank you Christina, you and your sweet children were wonderful! I hope to be able to return to Brooklyn in a few months and that your place will be available.

  • Excellent stay. The room is large and the neighborhood is safe and mostly quiet. The walk to the G train isn't short but wasn't difficult at all. I slept on the couch; it was large and comfortable, especially for a tall guy like me. My friend slept on the bed, which she said was a little uncomfortable. My only complaint is that there were no trash cans downstairs. The host is very busy; we never saw her after check-in, but that was not an issue as there were no problems with our stay that required her attention. I'd definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity.

  • Christina was great. The place was clean and very spacious. Good location in BK in Greenpoint, on the edge of Williamsburg. Christina was a lovely hostess and I would consider staying with her on my next trip to BK!

  • Cristina is a very welcoming host, open, sociable and ready to help with any questions you may have.

The room is huge and secluded, it has everything what you may need to relax after your busy days in New York, including big TV, X-box, full Guitar Hero set and even the real guitar!

Location is very good, walking distance to Williamsburg with all it's fun places, and also Subway stops.

  • Christina was a very nice host and made every effort to provide a good experience right down to having travel books of Brooklyn waiting for me upon arrival. The room is large infact huge by New York standards, clean and quiet. Thanks for a nice stay.

  • While it was nice to have more than enough floor space & a private toilette & sink, the place is a basement & quite dark. the level,of cleanliness was less than hoped, and less than experienced in two previous Airbnb stays. The host is well intentioned, but the second set of keys given to my husband & I didn't work at all & the host was a phantom. the pullout couch I slept on has seen better days. The Polish neighborhood has some charm, but is a solid 20 min walk from the nearest subway stop. The immediate area is half industriall with limited convemiences. In short, I could only recommend this place if it were half the price, lighter & cleaner.

    Response from Rose:

Jill was a respectful guest while in my home. I enjoyed sharing my apartment with her during her NYC trip.
However, even though my apartment was well cleaned, fresh bedding offered, and clean towels were provided this guest showed no appreciation. In fact, this guest criticized my home in an Airbnb feedback review. This is the first negative feedback I have ever received with someone staying in my home. I feel these actions to be disrespectful, if there was an issue this guest should have attempted communication during her stay, and I would have attempted to assist.
She complained in feedback that I was not present at the apartment, but I believe privacy is important and respectful.
I can not recommend this guest after this experience.

About
My home is in Greenpoint/Williamsburg Brooklyn, New York City. Currently, I am finishing my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and already have a Master's in Social Work. Also, I have a background in acting having studied Theatre at New York University. I love NYC. My neighborhood is a very special dynamic place, where musicians and artists come together with cityscapes, and lots and lots of green outdoor spaces and parks. Night or day there is always an experience that can take your breath away.
