Kitchen, bathroom, yard
Please note that the kitchen is a shared space and that people who are cooking and needing the kitchen table and counter to prepare, cook and eat their meal have first priority to be in the kitchen. Since there are several guests and one kitchen, I expect everyone to cooperate in order to have a pleasant stay.
Please do not hang out at the kitchen during these time slots: 7am to 10am during breakfast hours, 11am to 2pm lunch time during lunch time and 4pm to 9pm during dinner time. During these time slots please do not stay in the kitchen to work on your computer or hang out unless you are preparing or eating your meal even if no one else is at the kitchen.
In addition, people who do not have their own mini fridge have first priority use of the kitchen and downstairs fridges. If you have a private room with a mini fridge please limit your use of the kitchen and downstairs fridges.

Maria's apartment located at a good and quiet area and near to public transportations which is convenient to travel to downtown. The apartment is exactly as listed, wifi is fast , room is clean and comfortable. We have enjoyed our stay here.
We enjoyed our stay at Trumbull House. The room was nice, quiet and clean, and people there were helpful. It's close to bus, BART and a 20 min. walk from a lot of restaurants and cafes in the Mission.
*thumbs up* I had a great time in SF, even better because I had a place to park my car on this trip. I was a little worried, but Maria said I should be fine, and she was right, I had my car parked right in front of the house everyday and no problem. The room was fine, neatly kept, internet was giving me a little hard time but I didn't really use it much. accessing the house was easy, and because its close to the Bart station (like 15 minutes walk at most) and restaurants it was convenient. The orientation and house rules were pretty simple and completely reasonable. I definitely will stay there again if I can. :) thanks Maria!
Living at Maria's residence was a great experience. The room had everything I needed, the communal kitchen had plenty of stuff to cook with and despite only two main communal bathrooms shared between many it seemed like there was never really a wait. Maria is really good at rolling with the punches and was even able to successfully manage and resolve issues relating to intense rains and flooding. A very thoughtful and professional hostess, she could be easily reached whether in person or by phone. The residence also has a washer/dryer (make sure to have lots of quarters handy), wifi and it is usually possible to find street parking relatively close if you have a car. Just be very sure to look for the signs that note what day of the week the street cleaning services comes because you will definitely get towed if your car is in the way.
All in all, a great experience and the other guests were very kind and friendly as well. Especially considering the outrageous housing prices, this is one of the most reasonable and cost-affordable options around.
We didn't meet Maria, but the instructions on how to get in the house and where everything would be were very clear. Victor, as one other review notes, also made us feel welcome and gave us a tour. The house was pretty clean and in a decent location, parking was pretty good (free, but be careful for street cleaning days) and, even though its in the outer mission, its pretty close to the inner city. Aside from Victor, everyone kept to themselves in the house, so there wasn't a super friendly vibe. I probably wouldn't stay there again, but for the price it's not bad if you're just planning on sleeping there.
