I like our guests to feel comfortable in the privacy of their own apartment. I am always around if I am needed.
I love how convenient the neighborhood is. Anything that you could possible need is always available. I love the food options that you have. I love how easy it is to get to all corners of the city. It's easy and efficient.
Very convenient for finding your way around Tokyo. The closest metro lines are Hibiya, Oedo, & Chiyoda lines. Buses that go to directly to Shibuya and Shinjuku one minute from the front door. Very easy to find your way around.

It was great staying in Rory and Kayleen's apartment. We never met them in our stay, but they were very quick in answering any concerns we had. They really try their best to answer all questions - even those not related to the booking at all.
The apartment is in a very convenient place. It's only a few minutes walk away to Roppongi Exit 5 and 3 (we found 5 to be closer, but the map provided is exit 3). The full instructions and the photo of the apartment front were very useful in finding it - especially because it doesn't really have a sign with the building name on it.
The apartment was clean and in good condition. There were four of us and we fit okay, but that was because we didn't mind not having much space in the living room. We kept the sofa bed out and we moved the television to the side and kept our things under the bed. If you all need closet space though, and if you actually want to use the living room and the washing machine, 4 people might be a problem.
The toilet was also quite small - it takes a bit of flexibility/manoeuvreing if you're a guy or a bit on the taller side for a woman. (I am 164cm and I didn't have much trouble, although it was a tight fit). The bathtub is a Japanese tub to save on space - so you sit on it rather than lay down with your legs stretched out.
Apart from space concerns - which is a given in Tokyo, to be honest - the apartment was great. Clean, well-maintained, great location, with good internet connection.
Great location and this host Roar is very helpful!
The bed was big and comfortable.
Merci encore. Bon rapport qualité/prix.
It was really clean, and cozy! Extra towels and bed sheets and duvets, shampoo/shower gel. The first night we had questions, they answered the phone quickly and saved my life :)
It was a bit cold, because the aircon didn't work, so we had two small heaters, and that did the job with hot pajamas!
I highly recommend for couples or two friends but 4 in that small apartment isn't the best. 3 max, they mean it!
The neighborhood is Roppongi, so expect what you've heard about Roppongi, but I was glad that this apartment is quite and peaceful and we didn't have any trouble with the neighbors.
Also the location is a must because there is two 7/11, one FamilyMart, one Donkihote (Don Quijote) and it's 5min from the exit n°3 of Roppongi. Sooooo convenient for the price!!!
If I go back to Tokyo, I will definitely stay here again :)
Nice little appartment in the heart ofTokyo. All amenities are a few steps away, as well as restaurants, subway and state of the art museums. The host was really great in making our stay easy, and responded to emails in a speedy manner. I was travelling with a child and a baby and we had plenty of room to sleep. The appartment was clean and cozy. Since we were travelling in February, the weather was rather cold (4° outside), the host had left the heater on for us, which was a really nice attention. The appartment is not really accessible with a stroller (staircases from ground floor to 3rd floor, with a bike park where we left the stroller), yet we managed our way up and down quite well.
I would recommend this appartment to AirbnB users.
My boyfriend and I recently had a wonderful 2 week stay in Rory and Kaylee’s apartment. We found that the apartment was well equipped with everything we’d need for a long stay. Lots of towels, linen and blankets were provided and having a working washing machine to do laundry was extremely handy. The television wasn’t working however, although the various dvd’s did keep us well entertained when we weren’t out and about at night. The apartment was also perfect for a stay in winter. The split cycle heater in the bedroom was more than adequate to keep us warm with two more portable heaters provided for good measure.
Another great feature of the property is the location. The apartment is located off a quiet cul-de-sac in arguably one of Tokyo’s most bustling and lively districts. You’re also within a 5 minute walk from the subway, a 24/7 duty free store as well several convenience, fast food and grocery stores which made getting supplies or a cheap meal extremely convenient. One possible down side is perhaps the size of the toilet which is located in an adjacent separate room from the main bathroom. Using the toilet may prove ‘challenging’ for some taller guests (as the room is quite small) and takes some getting used to but is certainly manageable and we had minimal troubles adjusting.
Overall, we had a lovely stay in Roppongi. The owner’s Rory and Kaylee were friendly and welcoming and were able to be contacted 24/7 to respond to any needs or issues that we had. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a convenient and well located place stay in Tokyo.
Clear and concise directions and pre-arrangements details provided by R & K . Had a very enjoyable stay in Tokyo with my family .
Unfortunately there was a major mix up with this booking and I wasn't able to get into the apt. I could not get hold of the host or his partner and these were the only 2 phone numbers they had left me. I was out in the cold for over an hour waiting outside their apt and in the end had to book a hotel at a much higher price because it was very last minute. A real shame as I have had other good experiences with airbnb but this event costed me a lot of money out of my own pocket! Not a great experience!
I really enjoyed my time in Roppongi thanks largely to my stay at Roar's place. Perfectly located in the heart of Roppongi the apt was incredibly quiet, and gave easy access to both the metro and restaurants, bars, etc throughout Roppongi. Roar was extremely helpful with his directions, and remained in contact with me throughout my stay when anything came up (all due to my own lack of planning). I cannot give more thanks to Roar and his hospitality.
Roar was an awesome host. We needed a place last minute and fortunately he replied back right away and via email led us to his apt quickly and easily. He provided a ton of great food and nightlife options which we used and was always standing by ready to help us even though he wasn't in Tokyo at the time.
His place is great for three people. The bathroom is well kept and the living areas are comfortable. I'd absolutely stay with this great host again.
