Our house is a 3 bedroom house with a detached staff house currently occupied by young international friends. We are all in our mid twenties with interests that range from sustainable development, entrepreneurship, travel and the great outdoors.
We are surrounded by lots of great recreational things to do - coffee houses, shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, the best brewery in town, clubs, local flee markets, gymns and spas - to name a few, all within an easy 10min walk. And if you feel like venturing into the city, we are easily accessible by public transportation and only a 20min ride to the Central Business District. We have 24 hour cabs standing by if you may require their services. Our house is in a safe gated community with 24 hour security guards.
I currently live in Uganda, so my room is available for short stays. It has it's own half bath and balcony, perfect for lazing outside on warm Sunday afternoons. We also have an outdoor bar that is perfect for entertaining.
Part of our backyard doubles as a small clothing boutique that I cofounded. This is a great chance to get some great discounted clothes.
Just to make your stay even more special, we welcome you to our kitchen, do your laundry and will be your tour guide if you like (when our schedules allow off course), give you access to our wifi, plus provide clean towels and sheets, all at no extra charge.
So what are you waiting for? Book now. We can't wait to meet you!

Nice apartment with a homely feel and nice roommates. The host was helpful and flexible.
Abagi's place is a great introduction to Nairobi. Clean, friendly and welcoming - it is in an excellent location near the Junction Mall with great transport links. Highy recommended !!
Location was perfect for me, but it all dependson where you have to be in Nairobi as transport can consume a lot of time. There are multiple rooms to rent in the house, so make sure which one you get in terms of semi-private or shared bathroom. There were some problems with internet and water, the latter more often lacking than aviable. So, be aware of that, although this might not be uncommon in Nairobi in general. Ask specifically if breakfest is included or not and futher enjoy your stay!!
Abagi's place was awesome! A small but comfortable guest house outside the main house, so super private, and in a safe gated neighborhood that's walking distance from Junction Mall. I felt very at home. Definitely recommended!
I had a great time staying at Abagi's place. Best thing about it was the excellent company, I felt immediately at home, part of the house-share. I tagged along to some great nights out in Nairobi, and also made some amazing professional contacts too - what more could you ask for? See you again soon guys!
Abagi is awesome- she knows everything that's going on in NBO and always invites me along- and the house is super cute! Plus there's a clothes job in it so I can go shopping in my own house! I plan to continue staying here.

I was born and raised in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, went to college in the US, now working and living in Uganda. I'm passionate about renewable energy and sustainable development, but secretly obsessed with fabrics, art and design. To that end, I ran a small clothing boutique that I hope will one day pay for all the travel I intend to do around the world. I love the outdoors, the smell of rain, contact sports and lazy Sunday afternoons. Everyday is a chance to write a new story to the endless chapters of my life. I hope you will add to them :-)
