  • Belle appartement.

  • The flat is like on the pictures.
I know very well Toulouse city center and being in this appartment, you feel like in the old times because of the impressive high ceilings.
I would love having the same in Paris.

  • Great location. Lovely spacious accommodation, with loads of character. Great central location. Ideal for discovering Vieux Toulouse + also for metro to mainline train station. Reservation acceptance was very efficient, check-in and help while on site couldn't have better.... flight was very much delayed and yet the welcome was warm, friendly and practical even at such a late arrival time! Great selection of books + music too! Good restaurants nearby.Merci beaucoup !

  • My stay was perfectly suited to my needs and requirements. There were a couple of problems with boiler and internet connection which were dealt with immediately and so very graciously. I had already been alerted to the noise of the nightclub next door, which didn't personally bother me but might others as would the fact that there would be no privacy if several people were staying there since it is openplan, but again it was ideal for me. I did miss there not being a washing machine as I was there for 6 weeks, and there is an ideal space for one in the downstairs WC. Also as internet access was limited to the kitchen a TV would have been welcome in the living area. It was ideal for entertaining over the Xmas period, space enough for 30 people comfortably and has an incredible Wow factor. Maybe others would prefer a proper bed rather than the matress on the floor, more pillows and be nervous that the shower room is a wet room therefore takes a while to drain but the hundreds of books and games, the spiral staircase, the enormous hammock, the tasteful, Bohemian decor and the vast space would certainly make it my first port of call should I return to Toulouse in the future.

  • we stayed for three nights at the loft de luxe charme ancien in mid December, and the flat was as we hoped, clean, beautiful and spacious, well located and warm. There was a nightclub quite close by that went on very late so maybe remember your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

  • First of all, the apartment does NOT have 3 bedrooms. It has a kitchen, a living room with an open loft, and another small loft style room above the kitchen. This small room does NOT have a door or a wall, therefore, with a young child (2 years), it's impossible to find a quiet place for her to sleep unless everybody in the house stays completely quiet which is completely unreasonable. So, for a family, especially with young children, this place is unlivable, so stay away.

Secondly, the internet ONLY works in the kitchen. It's not possible to get any computer related work done in the kitchen, therefore, if you have any computer related work to do that needs internet access, stay away.

Then, from Wednesday to Saturday, until about 6am in the morning, there is loud screaming and yelling going on right outside the apartment because the entrance to a club is located right next door. Also, the loud music from the club can be heard throughout the apartment until 6am, so if you (and your family) would like to sleep comfortably, stay away.

The mattresses to sleep on are dirty beyond belief. The mattresses are covered in brown and yellow stains and one of the mattresses is covered in mould which is not only disgusting but it's a health hazard. So, if you have any concern about hygiene or your health, stay away.

Our host was NOT Nicholas. Our host was another person who did NOT speak English well at all. Though, it's understandable that in France people are expected to speak French, Nicholas had told us that we would be meeting him, so we thought not knowing French very well won't be an issue. Dealing with our host, who did not speak English well, was extremely difficult since it was impossible to express our concerns and be understood, hence many of our concerns were NOT resolved. So, if you don't speak French very well, stay away.

After leaving, we have been accused of breaking various things and leaving a mess. Our host on departure said 'Everything Ok, just a few crumbs but normal.' After asking Nicholas, he did not provide us with examples except one item that was already broken before we got there and they chose to blame us for breaking it. The apartment is already in a broken down state therefore, it's no surprise that the host cannot keep track of what's broken and what's not. So, if you don't wish to be accused of breaking things that are already broken, stay away.

Initially, Nicholas offered to refund us some money if we left early. We did leave early, since the place was unbearable, but after leaving, no attempt was made to give us any of our money back.

So, if you have a family, are on business, or like to relax and get a good night's sleep, or, if you don't speak French very well, do NOT stay at this place.
