My stay here was pretty great. Sarah provides accurate and helpful directions to the building, in addition to a helpful welcome packet. My advice is to take the taxi from the airport since it's quick and was pretty cheap (about $30). The room itself was pretty cozy, though the fan and carpet looks like it needs to be cleaned. I liked that there were two bathrooms, washing machine was available for use. However, there were bugs in the smaller bathroom and also the shower water never got warm (use the bigger bathroom if you can!) Overall, my stay was a-ok!
The room and location are great. If you are looking for a short stay in a simple room/building, this is a good choice. The a/c and wifi work well, and the accommodations were simple. Good for a flexible backpacker! I never met Sarah, but she was extremely detailed and helpful in gaining access to the space. She also offered great recommendations for travel within Singapore. Cheers!
Great location, average room, average price. It's definitely cheaper than most hostels and you get your own room. Do note that the bathroom is shared, and the toilet and shower head are in the same area. Thus, using the restroom potentially gets a little wet at times.
I didn't actually meet Sarah, but she came across as a nice person in her emails and she provided clear instructions on how to find her apartment. The room in question is compact - big enough for a single bed and a spot to put your bag, and you share the living area, kitchen area and the bathrooms with the people in the other rooms. There was a bit of a problem with my stay because of a miscommunication; I was originally due to stay for 3 nights, but had to change the booking to just 1 night. The lady who cleans the apartment didn't realise I was coming and so the room was unmade after the previous guest until 7pm on the day I checked in, and unfortunately I couldn't get hold of Sarah because her phone broke. That aside, it was a pleasant stay in a very good location - right in the middle of Chinatown, high up in an apartment building and right near an MRT station.
Chambre très bien placée piur explorer Singapour. Elle est petite mais j'ai peu passé de temos à l'intérieur donc très suffisante.
Sarah was great to work with... helpful and accommodating. This space is small, but trouble free and convenient location. Recommending!
I did not get to meet Sarah. But she provided prompt email responses. The room is as shown on the photograph. High floor, good view. Very convenient location, just on top of the MRT station. The sheets and towels are clean. The fan on the wall needs a hard cleaning. The small carpet tiles near the room entrance though convenient for cleaning in washing machine, is a bit messy. The neighbourhood is well known in Singapore as not vey clean and quiet anyway. Will consider staying at this place if pass through Singapore again.

About the Host, Sarah
Greetings from Singapore! I am an American who has been living in Singapore for over a year. I have travelled and lived extensively throughout Europe & SE Asia and love to hear others stories and dream on my next adventure as well! We have been very fortunate to find an apartment in the center of where everything goes on and are lucky to have space to share in a country quite tiny!
I love travel and love staying at places that feel like home. I am a very easy going host and willing to work with you in anyway that I can to make your travel/stay at my places easier. I love outdoors & nature, scuba diving, as well as the city life with checking out new restaurants and cocktail bars.
