House built in 2006 gives you a fresh and modern place to stay in an historic town.
I have a two bedroom, one bath home downtown Charleston within walking distance of the city center and Hampton Park. My home was built in 2006 so you will be staying in a relatively new home downtown, which is quite unique. I have a spare bedroom with a queen memory foam bed, fireplace and a piano- room is regular sized. My home has a washer and dryer and all of the modern and regular amenities you would expect (no microwave). Kitchen, bath, living room- etc..
Plenty of street parking and I also have bikes. I can rent just a room or the entire house.
Everything is provided.
Charleston is an amazing city!
Rent the extra room for whatever the calender price is--add another 100 for the whole house per night.
Renting the entire house allows for 4 people to stay comfortably.
If just renting a room- guests have access to everything except my personal bedroom. If they rent the whole house they have access to everything.
If you are renting just the room I may be around, but very little. If you rent the entire house obviously you won't see me at all. I do like meeting people so if you are interested in meeting up for a beer or going for a sail I certainly won't hesitate.
The neighborhood is a mix of young professionals, family's that have been here for decades and medical university students. It is primarily residential with a few businesses. The bars, restaurants and shops are a 10 minute walk to the beginning of King street.
Yes there is public transit, though I prefer walking or bikes (which I provide)
Bryan was an awesome host, he was always very helpful, very responsive and very easy to talk to. His house is super clean, and very inviting, it is the perfect place to relax whether you want to stay inside or go outside and enjoy the cute and welcoming backyard. The house is located a few blocks from some good local restaurants, he also has a couple of bikes available, this makes your trips to the historic district a lot easier and more fun than driving! I would recommend his place for your next visit to Charleston, you'll love it!!
We (3) rented the whole house mid week for three nights.
Communicating with Bryan was easy.
His place is exactly as advertised and very clean in every sense. It is tastefully decorated as cool urban pad…
There is plenty of street parking, downtown starts a 10 minute walk away, taxis from the waterfront are reasonable.
The price/location value is superb.
We will all happily stay at Brian’s again.
Great house and location!
Bryan's place was the perfect landing pad for our college roommate girls weekend. Super clean, accommodating and accessible to downtown. We'll be back!
Bryan was an excellent host. Even when we had to switch up our plans a bit he was very polite and accommodating. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in downtown Charleston!
Staying at Bryan's was absolutely wonderful! He was a welcoming and charming host. He helped us know how to get around town and the best places to see and go to. Bryan was very accomodating and generous during our stay. We would book with Bryan again in a heartbeat!
We had a great experience staying at Bryan's! He wasn't with us while we were there but was very prompt in responding to our messages. We actually encountered a flight cancelation due to weather and he was open to offering us an extra night's stay!
His apartment is as shown from his pictures ... Very clean and wonderful ... Provided us with more than enough essentials for a weekend's stay.
Location is about 20 minutes walk to city center, 10 minutes walk to Hamilton Park, and a 20 minute drive to the airport In a safe and friendly neighborhood; definitely convenient to a lot the city's walkable attractions.
Highly recommend a stay at his place!
Amazing house, amazing host. Staying at Bryan's place and meeting him and his friends is exactly what I love about AirBnb. I couldnt recommend this place more
Bryan's place was exactly what we were looking for... clean and comfortable and within close proximity to downtown attractions.
Bryan, wasn't in town when we rented the place, but he was very good at checking in on us via email and making sure everything was okay. His place was in terrific shape: a clean, renovated home in an up-and-coming part of Charleston. His neighbors were extremely friendly too. We ended up walking 20 minutes to get to nice restaurants on King St. and then getting a cheap cab back at night.
We also really enjoyed using Bryan's beach cruisers and exploring the penninsula. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants a clean, affordable opportunity to explore downtown Charleston.
