Comfortable home within short walking distance of the main square. Close to San Miguel's fashionable Art Centre, La Fabrica la Aurora.
A lovely family home, just 5 blocks from the city´s main square in beautiful San Miguel de Allende. It is located just a block away from San Miguel´s most important arts center, Fabrica la Aurora. We offer a sunny airy room, with off suite bathroom, maid service, WIFI, cable TV, use of the laundryroom and kitchen. There is a lovely back patio with fountain that can be used for reading and relaxing.
The house is in a safe neighborhood on a principle via trough the city. It's easy to catch a cab ($2.50 US) or a city bus. But in reality it is just a 5-10 minute walk to the city square.
There are little Mom&Pop stores close to the house for easy shopping for food and drinks.
Easy access to taxis and buses.
Other Things to Note
Please note we have 2 lovey dogs.
We are looking for friendly, respectful and non smoking guests.
The house is indeed lovely and has a beautiful patio garden. The neighborhood is pleasant, within easy walking distance of the historic center, shopping, restaurants, etc.
The room and large private bathroom were perfect for our week in San Miguel. We were greeted each morning with coffee and fresh orange juice. Sarah was great about helping us figure out some of the basics of finding our way around, great places to eat....We would love to come back!
This being our first trip to San Miguel, Sarah & Ernesto's home was a good place to stay. We appreciated their welcoming hospitality. Their friendly advice in what to see and where to go was truly helpful. The accommodation was very adequate. Their lovely home houses many pieces of art and it was a privilege to stay there.
My host Sarah went out of her way to accommodate me and was totally welcoming and gracious. The accommodations were perfect, stylish, modern and ultra clean and the bed was to die for. I highly recommend Sarah's home. The neighbourhood is a nice walk to the centre of the historic district, which I did several times during my 3 day stay. All in all a real gem.
We are from Mexico. We are married and produce one of Latin America´s largest film festivals. We love the arts, theater, film and history. My name is Sarah and my husband is Ernesto. We are in our 40s.
