This location is beautiful and provides dozens of amenities. Marta was fantastic with her suggestions and organized several day trips for us that were great. We are not usually ones to do the more touristy things but she had made sure that the activities that she recommended were top shelf.

HOLY FREAKING BLEEEP!!! The views from this place are amazing!!!! Great hosts...went out and fixed the AC as soon as we reported it not functioning. Spent time in pool, at the bar, in the hammock, on our patio, and couldn't have had a better time!! Walk into town is totally doable with a flash light ( at night) CAB IT BACK!!!

This place is absolutely amazing. We actually went on a zip line tour where the tour bus picked us up and our fellow zip-liners were quite envious of where we were staying. It has a beautiful view, pool, bar, A/C, and monkeys everywhere. The hosts were great and gave us a tour book to review for tours in the area when we arrived. This was the best place we stayed in Costa Rica. We stayed in the La Casita apartment and it has a loft feel with two balconies ! Love, love, love this place.

Marta and Douglas were very sweet and accommodating! La Casita had a pretty sweet view of the marina in the morning, and no need for an alarm when you've got monkeys to greet you! Definitely would stay here again when I come back to Manuel Antonio.

The view from this place is simply stunning! It overlooks the Marina and is beautiful even in the rain. I saw two kinds of monkeys right from the balcony! I tried three of the restaurants at the Marina and they were all great! Wish I could have stayed longer!

Marta And Douglas User Profile

Marta
I have a very outgoing personality and love to dance, cook and laugh. I enjoy meeting and helping people. I love to travel throughout my country and other countries as well. My husband Douglas and I have been married for 25 years and have two daughters, Bianca 23 and Sandy 18. Both girls attend the university in San Jose. Both Douglas and I were born and raised in Quepos and we think that with all of the lovely areas in Costa Rica, that the Quepos/Manuel Antonio are is the most beautiful.

Douglas
I like to dance and cook as well. Although I am not as outgoing as my wife, I do enjoy meeting other people. I have worked for the national electric company "ICE for 27 years as a maintenance supervisor. I like to travel and enjoy seeing other areas of our beautiful country. We slowly built on our property over the years and enjoy sharing it with others. Now with the pool and rancho completed I think we are finally finished.
