This is a private apartment and not just a room. It has a kitchen, full bath, living room/dining area, 1 bedroom, A/C, TV, WiFi and a shared swimming pool. There is a queen size bed and we add a single bed at additional cost for the third guest.

The space

Casita means little house in Spanish, La Casita is a 2 story house with a kitchen, sitting area, full bath and a outside balcony with jungle views on the first floor. The upper floor has the bedroom, 2nd bath and outside balcony with great ocean views.

If La Casita isn't available for your specific dates, please view our other 4 apartments that are spread out on the property. Follow these 3 steps, click on our picture, on the new page click on our picture again, now look on the lower left side of the new page to see them.

Our property is very private and secure, with a gated entrance. It sits on a hillside overlooking a lush green valley, with unbelievable sunset views over the ocean and marina. It is less than a 10 minute walk to central Quepos where you can find everything you need, food markets, restaurants, gift shops, clothing, taxi's, buses and more. You can visit our local farmers market every Friday and Saturday where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, home baked goods or a cold fresh coconut to drink. Quepos has it's own hospital and airport with numerous daily commuter flights.

You can jump into the pool to cool off, swing in a hammock under the large covered patio, or play a game of cards while you watch the boats go into and out of the harbor, or watch the monkey's play on one of their frequent visits.

The beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park and it's world famous beaches are only a short taxi or bus ride away.

My husband and I live on the property and are always available to help make your vacation a memorable one.

If you would like, we can provide private transportation to and from San Jose and help arrange all of your tours to help make your Costa Rica Vacation unforgettable.

La Casita was a great place to stay in Quepos. Off the beaten path, wake to monkeys in the trees outside your balcony. Close to the new marina, its pool overlooking the harbor, keep some beer in the fridge or run a tab from their stocked bar. Have Marta arrange excursions for you! A wonderful place.

Marta was a great host. She was extremely accommodating and gave us great recommendations/info about Quepos. Casa Pargo was an adventure to find. Marta gave directions on how to get there by car, and it was uphill past a few homes. The location was high in the mountains which was secluded and gave a great view of the water & Marina. There was a shortcut to the town so that it was only a 10 min walk away. Casa Pargo was two floors. There was a bathroom on each floor which was convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The bed was big and comfortable. The place was relatively clean. There were definitely bugs but what do you expect when you're in the mountains! Marta recommended a tour for my boyfriend and I. It was with ADR for a zip lining and canyoning tour. It was convenient because they included pick-up and drop-off, breakfast & lunch, transportation, professional guides, snacks, and a lot of information! It was a lovely day trip.

We had a great four night (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication was prompt, check-in was easy, and the apartment was well equipped and very clean. It's definitely off the beaten path but great value for such a spectacular view.

Such a great location with an amazing view of the marina! There was parking for our car so it was easy to get around town. Both of the tours that Marta helped book for us picked us up from here too - which was very convenient. Marta was lovely and always around to help with whatever was needed including booking excursions in the area! Perfect little place for a couple, with a kitchen that’s got everything from a toaster to a blender! A refregioratior and freezer to keep food cool as well.

The property only has a few units, which share a unique bar/patio/party-space with pool and great view. The hosts stock the bar and provide drinks on request that you can pay for at the end of your stay. It's beautiful. We were even visited by a pack of spider monkeys on our last day! Marta and Douglas are fantastic hosts and work hard to make sure you have everything you need.

Marta And Douglas User ProfileMarta And Douglas is a superhost.

Marta
I have a very outgoing personality and love to dance, cook and laugh. I enjoy meeting and helping people. I love to travel throughout my country and other countries as well. My husband Douglas and I have been married for 25 years and have two daughters, Bianca 23 and Sandy 18. Both girls attend the university in San Jose. Both Douglas and I were born and raised in Quepos and we think that with all of the lovely areas in Costa Rica, that the Quepos/Manuel Antonio are is the most beautiful.

Douglas
I like to dance and cook as well. Although I am not as outgoing as my wife, I do enjoy meeting other people. I have worked for the national electric company "ICE for 27 years as a maintenance supervisor. I like to travel and enjoy seeing other areas of our beautiful country. We slowly built on our property over the years and enjoy sharing it with others. Now with the pool and rancho completed I think we are finally finished.
