Description

The space

Casita means little house in Spanish, La Casita is a 2 story house with a kitchen, sitting area, full bath and a outside balcony with jungle views on the first floor. The upper floor has the bedroom, 2nd bath and outside balcony with great ocean views.

If La Casita isn't available for your specific dates, please view our other 4 apartments that are spread out on the property. Follow these 3 steps, click on our picture, on the new page click on our picture again, now look on the lower left side of the new page to see them.

Our property is very private and secure, with a gated entrance. It sits on a hillside overlooking a lush green valley, with unbelievable sunset views over the ocean and marina. It is less than a 10 minute walk to central Quepos where you can find everything you need, food markets, restaurants, gift shops, clothing, taxi's, buses and more. You can visit our local farmers market every Friday and Saturday where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, home baked goods or a cold fresh coconut to drink. Quepos has it's own hospital and airport with numerous daily commuter flights.

You can jump into the pool to cool off, swing in a hammock under the large covered patio, or play a game of cards while you watch the boats go into and out of the harbor, or watch the monkey's play on one of their frequent visits.

The beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park and it's world famous beaches are only a short taxi or bus ride away.

My husband and I live on the property and are always available to help make your vacation a memorable one.

If you would like, we can provide private transportation to and from San Jose and help arrange all of your tours to help make your Costa Rica Vacation unforgettable.

It was a beautiful stay! Waking up every morning to a view like this is priceless. Got woken up by monkeys one of the mornings, as they were jumping on the roof and balcony. Saw three scarlet macaws flying in the distance. Rufous-tailed hummingbird came to visit daily among dozens of other exotic birds on the property. The climb was definitely steep but one good exercise for sure. There were trees loaded with mangoes, starfruit and bird of paradise in full bloom along the path. The only minor thing we had an issue with was hot water in the shower. It would come in waves of hot and cold, which took time to adjust. The hosts were great. Marta helped us order the food on the first day and was there with any question we had. The cleaning guy, Saul, was super friendly too! He even gave us a few suggestions of how to make a passion fruit smoothie. Overall thank you so much for a great stay!

Absolutely gorgeous paradise and wonderful hosts. We visited on our honeymoon. Our apartment overlooked the marina and had mangos hanging next to our balcony. Marta was a great host and went to extensive lengths to make sure that our needs were met. She recommended excursions, helped arrange transportation, and helped translate for us. We will definitely come back!

The Cassita is great value for the area. The marina is in walking distance and the pool although small is wonderful. The hill is a bit of a killer in the scorching heat but taxis are readily available. I would add that this specific appartement is small for 3 people as the 2nd bed was in the kitchen area and thus we were not able to eat comfortably at the kitchen counter. If you plan to cook you also have to bring or buy your staples. Marta is very helpful and went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and ordered our taxis almost daily. Saul is a sweetheart and kept out cassita clean. We were so surprised to have our Casita cleaned and towels replenished every couple of days, such an unexpected treat! If you're looking for a budget accomodation in the area, this place is a great deal!

Wonderful location and view, and great hospitality from Marta. We were here as a family of three and really enjoyed pur 3 nights. The "Vista" is spacious and comfortable, and we would rent it again anytime. The pool and patio area are lovely, great place to relax and watch sunset. Marta is a sweet host, and generous of her attention if you have any needs or questions. Close to beach and Manuel Antonio park without being in the overbusy touristy area, we much appreciated being at a walking distance from the marina and restaurants.

I have a very outgoing personality and love to dance, cook and laugh. I enjoy meeting and helping people. I love to travel throughout my country and other countries as well. My husband Douglas and I have been married for 25 years and have two daughters, Bianca 23 and Sandy 18. Both girls attend the university in San Jose. Both Douglas and I were born and raised in Quepos and we think that with all of the lovely areas in Costa Rica, that the Quepos/Manuel Antonio are is the most beautiful.

I like to dance and cook as well. Although I am not as outgoing as my wife, I do enjoy meeting other people. I have worked for the national electric company "ICE for 27 years as a maintenance supervisor. I like to travel and enjoy seeing other areas of our beautiful country. We slowly built on our property over the years and enjoy sharing it with others. Now with the pool and rancho completed I think we are finally finished.
