  • We had an awesome time in San Francisco, everything were professionally organize. Bathrooms were clean and well equip with fresh towels, kitchen were fill with lots of utensil enough to cook a big dinner party. Whole Food was right down the street to stock up on munchies.

Sara was super helpful, she text me to come back and pick up things that were left behind. Luckily we were still in SF. Later that night Sara text me again for some more stuff left behind and offer to ship it to us since we were already home.

  • This was a wonderful place for our group of 12 adults. Plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms for all of us. The studio (master bedroom) in the garage/downstairs of the main house was perfect, it has its own kitchen & bathroom too - not sure if the description told us that...?

All of the kitchens are equipped with everything you need, coffee maker, dishes, cookware, etc. There are also plenty of bathrooms which is excellent for a large group.

The patio between the two houses is a great place to gather also. We were blessed with gorgeous weather, and spent a large part of the day lounging around on the deck (some lounge chairs would be an awesome addition!)

The only downside (which you already know if you're reading this) is that it is not very close to downtown & all of the action of SF. It's about a 20 drive to the heart of SF, which was not a problem for us.

Sara was lovely & called a few days before check in to go over everything, and even offered to provide sight-seeing tips for SF. She reviewed the general check in/check out info & offered to answer any other questions.

Overall this was a fantastic place & I would highly recommend it to others, and would love to stay there again myself!

  • Nice house with very detail decoration. The bedroom is very comfortable. The dinning room is very beautiful too. Not far from downtown, but in driving distance about 20 mins

  • Had a wonderful time had been to San Francisco before but stated in a hotel, was great to live in the community and get a feel for the city.
The apartment was fine the only negative was a smell of dampness in the basement . Our hosts were prompt to reply with any questions we had, overall a pleasant stat in the city

  • This place was ideal for my friends and I. Twelve of us were in San Francisco for a wedding. There was plenty of space for everyone and enough bathrooms to facilitate a lot of people having to get ready at the same time. There is a BART station (Balboa Park) just five blocks down Ocean Avenue, but with a pending BART strike we were glad to learn that there is a MUNI line (K Line and the Ocean Ave/Lee Ave station) at the end of the block. It made it very easy to get into the city, which we were doing fairly often. The house is a short drive from the airport and there is a Whole Foods on Ocean Avenue. This house was a great deal and we greatly enjoyed our stay here!

  • My extended family (5 adults and 2 children) stayed at the Perfect Family Retreat for over a week and we really enjoyed the accommodations. The retreat is comprised of some separate places and this worked great for us so that folks could be together yet have privacy, esp. when folks were up late or early. Sara Corbett was our contact at the Perfect Family Retreat and she was extremely responsive and helpful and went out of her way to make sure my family's stay was comfortable. The location was great as long as you're okay with driving to your locations in the bay area. Having the Whole Foods across the street was nice, the parking was easy, the access to the major highways was close. The retreat was super clean and the beds were comfy. You could see the ocean a short walk from the house. I highly recommend this house.

  • We rented the houses for the weekend for a bachelorette party with 11 girls. It was the perfect size for us. It is definitely a developing neighborhood, but there is a whole foods down the street--perfect to stock the house. And, it's close to the Mission.
We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the back deck, and using the kitchen to cook in one night. Overall, a great experience.

  • The hosts were both very responsive and helpful. We rented all 3 units (house, studio, and cottage) and it was perfect for my family and relatives who were in town for our wedding. Clean, spacious, and convenient (much better than staying at separate hotel rooms and much cheaper too!)

  • Jordan was great! The house was in a very walk-able area and literally a few doors down from Whole Foods (very convenient for last minute trips to grab stuff).

We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!!!

About
I love people... truly I adore meeting people, hearing about their lives, and making a difference for others. Being able to provide clean, lovely and stylish homes to guests is deeply fulfilling to me. It is an honor to have the opportunity to be hospitable. Even if most of my communication is with the individual reserving the home, I know that I am taking care of them so that they may take care of the other members in their group - whether that is three generations of a family or a group of friends or a team of coworkers. I live in San Francisco and offer a whole home to guests that I also own. In addition, I help some dear friends and family by providing guest services for homes that they own. I have always been passionate about providing wonderful customer service - even when I was a babysitter or worked in retail as a teenager. The home owners I help appreciate my passion and want people who stay in their homes to feel cared for and loved by me. All of my activities - such as responding swiftly to questions, fulfilling special requests, and providing neighborhood information to guests - are intended create a positive experience. For clarification, taking care of guests is at times a team effort. So you may read reviews that mention other people's names who are (or have been) part of my excellent team. Being able to provide a whole home - not just beds, but a kitchen and communal living space - especially inspires me. Recently, parents with their 5 young children stayed at one of my homes. I came by to drop off some extra items and got to watch the father play with the baby and see the other kids in their footie pjs piled up on the couch enjoying a cartoon before bed. I believe they made most of their meals in the kitchen, which was a significant savings for a family of their size. When they checked out, the parents told me how it simply would not have been possible for them to take a vacation like this at a hotel. It moved me to know that I gave these parents and children something so precious. My mother probably would have had a bed & breakfast, but instead ran a small business to support my dad's dreams. Even still, she had a comfortable lounge, complete kitchen, full time cook, and little touches like scented candles so that clients felt at home. She hosts a Thanksgiving dinner for 40+ so that friends, family, friends of family, family of friends, etc can experience belonging and being part of something special. I inherited her love for hospitality, combined with my father's outgoing nature. I've had the good fortune to travel internationally a bit. I'm learning and eventually will be able to speak French, Spanish, Italian and perhaps some other languages. I want to be able to communicate with people globally in their own language, whether they are visiting me or I'm visiting them. I also deeply enjoy exploring the city in which I live. Even after living in LA for 30+ years, I was always learning something new and discovering special qualities. There is so much happening in San Francisco, one can be a "tourist" in this city and never get bored. There isn't enough time in the day to attend all the events and try all the restaurants, etc. I appreciate when my guests tell me about their SF adventures.
