The apartment: ParkSide Stay, Clifton Hill, offers: a king size bedroom, sitting/dining area opening to a sunny northerly private enclosed courtyard garden, kitchenette, and large bathroom.
It has its own private entrance through a courtyard garden into a spacious living area!

Guest Access

Guests have access to the private courtyard garden. In fact when you enter the premises via the park, you come through a side gate that takes you into a small delightful sunny courtyard garden (for your use) . Your apartment opens onto this delightful space.

Interaction with Guests

I am very happy to assist with any special requirements you may have in Melbourne. You are welcome to knock on my door or send me a sms. I can recommend wonderful eateries, coffee shops, dog groomers, can provide dog minding and dog walking if requred; I am also mindful of privacy. As the apartment is totally self contained with its own private entry you have a home away from home but I am more than happy to provide any local information you may require.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood of Clifton Hill is very friendly and welcoming. We have a very high owner occupied neighborhood which fortunately creates a great sense of community and pride in our properties. For those who travel with their doggies you will be pleased to hear Clifton Hill has the greatest number of doggies in any suburb of Australia. Thus we are very doggie friendly and restaurants, coffee shops, bars would welcome doggies.

We are well and truly spoilt for parks....all around this area are parks and in fact one can walk, cycle, run etc for hours and feel as though one is in the bush. We have the best of both worlds, a city retreat with a rural environment.

One can wander along the river and enjoy a local farmers market most saturdays either at the Abbotsford (converted to a community based environment) Campus or the Childrens Farm... a real farm with a delightful cafe.
Smith St, Fitzroy has wonderful second outlets as well as boutique shopping.
Many supermarkets are close by and you can always get home delivery from Coles.
Automated Teller Machines are in Queens Pde and there are many local bank branches both in Smith St, Fitzroy, and Queens Pde in particular the Commonwealth and Bank of Bendigo.

Getting Around

If you dont have a car there is excellent public transport close by. Trains, Trams and buses are all within five minutes of the apartment. Trains are often express to the city and take 8 mins...5 mins to the MCG/Tennis centre. There is a good bus system that goes to Melbourne University and some of the major Melbourne Hospitals.
There are two drop off points for cars that can be rented by the hour, day, week or month(s).
Taxi are easily available.
Bicycles can be rented close by.... the whole area is surrounded by bicycle tracks.
