Our separate, private two room apartment with full bath is located on the first floor of a pristine Inner Richmond home. Can sleep up to three with a brand new double pullout sofa in one room and two single beds in the second room (yes, that literally could sleep four, but we think that's too crowded except for a family of four). Separate entrances in front and rear to backyard. Quiet, very safe family neighborhood one block from the Balboa Street commercial area of shops and Yelp 4*+ Asian and Russian restaurants. Refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and hot water dispenser on premise. Cable TV, strong free wifi. Can check into the apartment via code box if we're not here.
* One block from major bus lines downtown (the 5 line gets you downtown in 20 minutes).
* 1/2 block from a newly renovated Safeway (1 minute walk)
* Clean laundromat is literally 25 seconds away.
* One block from the Balboa commercial row of restaurants, including a great Russian bakery / restaurant.
* One block from Golden Gate Park, right next to the DeYoung Museum / Academy of Science entrance.
* 4 blocks from the Clement Street restaurant and shopping corridor.
* One block from bike rental shop next to Golden Gate Park; rent a bike and coast to the Ocean through GG Park or up to Golden Gate Bridge through the beautiful Presidio.
* No worries about forgetting the keys, unit can also be entered through the garage with the garage code.
* Unrestricted street parking - no meters or resident sticker zones
* Two rooms, one is quite large, are completely private. Why stay in somebody else's bedroom in a shared apartment when you can have two rooms all to yourself at the same price?
* We replace brand new pillows and linens every six months.

Patrick was a great host. He was very responsive to all messages and let us into the apartment and showed us around despite us arriving very late.
The apartment was bigger than it looked in the pictures, but there wasn't much natural light due to there not being many windows. However, the neighbourhood and the surroundings were beautiful. The apartment is just by Golden Gate park and in a very safe and residential area.
Overall a great stay!
Patrick is a wonderful host, he was always available for help. His places is nice, clean and much bigger in real.
There were many clean sheets, towels, detergent and the best part is that there was a laundromat just 1 min away from the apartment.
As we checked, we had an urgent meeting within few hours and it was such a big relief to find shampoos, soap and other toiletries available.
We will definitely stay at Patrick's place again. Thanks a lot for hosting us.
Patrick's place is easily accessible by several bus lines and conveniently located, with a laundromat and a 24-hour Safeway (grocery store) just steps away. Most importantly, his apartment was just one block away from golden gate park so I was able to take morning walks to the conservatory of flowers every morning.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Patrick's because it was clean and cosy. We were very fortunate and pleased to hear Patrick's children play the piano and cello! They are very musical:)
There were many fresh linens and towels ready for use. The beds were comfortable too.
Patrick was approachable and always prompt with his replies. This is by far my best airbnb experience!
Thank you Patrick!
Staying with Patrick offered us to explore more of San Francisco that we might not otherwise have had staying in a hotel, since the district we were in gave us more opportunity to drive around getting to and back from the places we visited. It was our first time in SF and enjoyed the new experiences it gave us. It was nice to have to freedom to come and go in this downstairs apt. that Patrick provided.
We enjoyed our stay. Super quiet neighborhood. Very convenient to public transportation and a safeway (for some reason we ended up going there every night). Beds weren't the softest, but we were so exhausted when we came in each night that we had no problem sleeping. One block away from Golden Gate Park
Patrick and his wife are very welcoming and friendly. This was a great space to live in while I was in town for work for a couple of weeks. I especially appreciated the proximity to public transportation, Safeway, the laundromat, and great restaurants. I also loved being so close to Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, and not far from Ocean Beach. Privacy, space, and cleanliness were other pluses.
What a wonderful way to start our first airbnb experience staying at Patrick's Inner Richmond apartment! The apartment was as expected, clean, charming and in a terrific location! The bus line is around the corner and accessible to great Thai restaurants and several local bakeries. The best part was the host who went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. Thank you Patrick for making our first experience to San Francisco and to airbnb one that we will remember!
About the Host, Patrick
I'm a media advisor and entrepreneur in San Francisco with a family of four. You can find out more about me by checking out the major social networks.
Rent bikes and ride west through Golden Gate Park to the windmill near the Ocean. Have a break at the Chalet overlooking Ocean Beach.
The best Russian restaurant in the City. Not too expensive, but you must try the home made Napoleon; Katia prepares it with fresh phyllo right there.
Great Russian bakery, known for piroshki
Our neighborhood's high end restaurant, but burgers are a $10 meal
The "hipster" coffee house
Turkey sandwich and deli are great
Like NyC's Natural History Museum, newly renovated
Best bakery in the Inner Richmond and best value in San Francisco. Delicious freshly made fruit pies for under $10 beats any supermarket.
Must try Burmese food and their tea salads. Burma Superstar always has long lines so try Mandalay one block up / one block west on California
Take out dim sum, always a line, get lunch for $5
Best French restaurant in our neighborhood. And a bargain compared to those downtown.
When Burma Superstar on Clement is too crowded, Mandalay is actually even better Burmese food, just not as well recognized.
