Our separate, private two room apartment with full bath is located on the first floor of a pristine Inner Richmond home. Can sleep up to three with a brand new double pullout sofa in one room and two single beds in the second room (yes, that literally could sleep four, but we think that's too crowded except for a family of four). Separate entrances in front and rear to backyard. Quiet, very safe family neighborhood one block from the Balboa Street commercial area of shops and Yelp 4*+ Asian and Russian restaurants. Refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and hot water dispenser on premise. Cable TV, strong free wifi. Can check into the apartment via code box if we're not here.
* One block from major bus lines downtown (the 5 line gets you downtown in 20 minutes).
* 1/2 block from a newly renovated Safeway (1 minute walk)
* Clean laundromat is literally 25 seconds away.
* One block from the Balboa commercial row of restaurants, including a great Russian bakery / restaurant.
* One block from Golden Gate Park, right next to the DeYoung Museum / Academy of Science entrance.
* 4 blocks from the Clement Street restaurant and shopping corridor.
* One block from bike rental shop next to Golden Gate Park; rent a bike and coast to the Ocean through GG Park or up to Golden Gate Bridge through the beautiful Presidio.
* No worries about forgetting the keys, unit can also be entered through the garage with the garage code.
* Unrestricted street parking - no meters or resident sticker zones
* Two rooms completely private. Why stay in somebody else's bedroom in a shared apartment when you can have two rooms all to yourself at the same price?
* We replace brand new pillows and linens every six months.

My first Airbnb experience at Patrick's place was excellent! His apartment is in a safe neighborhood and is very convenient to public transportation. There are many good restaurants within 15 minutes walk from the apartment. Patrick is very friendly and makes sure we have everything.
This is a great place to live the experience of a resident of San Francisco! There is so many things to discover around this neighborhood. I would definitely stay at this place during my next visit in San Francisco.
Excellent, well-stocked room in a great location, was exactly as described. A block away from Golden Gate Park, a 5-10 minute walk to really great restaurants and shopping on Clement and Geary, and easy access to public transportation to get anywhere you want. Patrick and his wife were courteous hosts and the neighborhood itself is very quiet and safe. Definitely book this apartment to get a taste of what what an SF resident's life is like!
Recently stayed here for three weeks, and it's the perfect location! Half block from bus and laundry, and block from golden gate park and the grocery store. It's a great neighborhood and quiet at night. If I were to move to San Fran, this is where I would be, and hope to book it for future trips.
I stayed here during a conference at the Moscone Center, which is only about 30 minutes by bus from Patrick's place. Patrick was very fast to respond to any of our needs during the trip. I would certainly stay here again.
Patrick was very responsive prior to and during my stay. The apartment was clean with linens and sheets replaced during my stay. The location near Golden Gate Park is very pleasant!
Very friendly and attentive hosts. The apartment had two good beds, a very nice bath/shower room (with a window) and enough storage and shelving space. What counted most: the reach of busses to go to San Francisco was excellent. And the closeness to the fantastic Golden Gate Park AND Golden Gate Bridge was very much appreciated. For the "light and vista" lovers: this is a "mother-in-law" apartment i.e. it is located on the ground floor, independent, private but there us no view of the S.F. skyline. If privacy is high on your priority list, then this is the right place, if you need a lot of light and window space you would have to go out to the nice back yard which is directly accessible from the apartment.
The accommodation worked perfectly for us, having our own entrance meant we didn't feel like we were disturbing our hosts. The location was perfect, just one block from Golden Gate Park with handy bus routes and a supermarket at the end of the block. Patrick and his family were accommodating to our needs, welcoming and very friendly.
Patrick's "Richmond apartment" was perfect - my parents stayed there for a week while they visited us. It was the right size for 2 people, and Patrick and his family were lovely hosts. I'd recommend it to friends...
This place is very comfortable and located in a great residential neighborhood next to the Golden Gate park. It's completely private and the hosts are very courteous. I called this place "the green apartment" because everything in it has a relaxing green color (the couch, the table, the walls...). I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
I stayed here for seven nights during Thanksgiving week. The apartment is private, quiet, secure, and convenient to bus lines, Safeway, and Golden Gate Park. The full bathroom is spacious and well-stocked with a variety of toiletries. The refrigerator, micro-wave, and electric coffee pot made fixing snacks and breakfast easy; but there are not a lot of restaurants in the immediate area. Parking in the Inner Richmond (or anywhere in San Francisco) is challenging and I got a ticket because I didn't realize that unless one has a sticker, parking is limited to 2 hours. West of 6th Avenue the parking is not so limited. Park your car and use public transportation.
Patrick and his family were very hospitable. I hope to stay there again.
Thanks Gayle, you were a wonderful guest!
I kept getting questions about parking after your review about residential parking permits so I want to answer this. Our house is 5 blocks from the nearest residential parking permit zones in San Francisco (search for the parking map by querying "San Francisco residential parking zones", we're right in the center of that white zone below zone N) so you must have parked farther away to get that ticket.
