The Space

My flat is at Ferikoy, Osmanbey. It's 5 minutes walk to Osmanbey metro station and 20 minutes walk to Taksim. It will take 5 minutes by cab from citycenter (Taksim) to my flat. So it's very central, in terms of Istanbul.

My flat is 3 bedroom furnished flat. This room i am renting is 10 square-meters size, with a comfortable single bed, a wardrobe, and a drawer. You will find everything at house for your accommodation including wi-fi and cable tv. You can share the fridge, do your laundry and iron your clothes. You can cook your own meals. You will have your own shelves at kitchen and fridge.

Public transportation is easy. The metro station is 5 minutes and bus station is 1 minute away.

You will have my mobile. If you need any kind of assistance related to home, city, museums and etc. you will be able to call me anytime.

My neighbourhood is in an old residence area. It is safe and nights are quiet. You will find shops open till late hours. But you will find the night life in Taksim, which is only 5 minutes away by cab.

  • I spent 5 weeks with Ahmet, and he was a great host! He made sure I knew how to get to the apartment, and showed me some good spots to grab a meal. He also went ahead and introduced me to his friends and other expats in the city.

The room isn't the biggest, but it's comfortable and warm. The apartment itself has everything you need, and is in a really good area, walking distance to the metro and Taksim. The price certainly doesn't hurt either.

A great stay with a good guy. I would recommend Ahmet to anyone, and encourage him to look me up if he's ever back in the US. Thanks again Ahmet!

  • The place is in a good location, a nice walk to the Taksim area or a faster walk to the subway if you want to go a little farther. Ahmet was a very helpful host and showed me some wonderful places I wouldn't have found without him! Would happily stay here again.

  • Ahmet is a kind and nice host. He helped me a lot and gave me information and guidance to visit the city. The house is close to the metro ( 15mins walking) and very quiet. The room is small but clean and good enough for me. I had a very good experience in Istanbul thanks to Ahmet. You should definitely choose him :)

  • I had no experience with Airbnb before and stayed 17 days in the room belongs to Ahmet. Ahmet is very helpful and friendly. I felt myself comfortale and safe.

The flat is very central in the near of Sisli. You have public transport possiblities such as metro or bus. For example, the metro is only 6-7 minutes on foot.

You have many shopping possibilities in the near: food shops, restaurants, textile stores, etc.

My experience was very good by Ahmet. Thanks.

  • Ahmet is a wonderful host. Upon arriving in İstanbul, Ahmet sent me a document containing need to know's and do's in İstanbul. I knew exactly how much to pay from the airport to Taksim Square thanks to his information, which made my arrival that much smoother. He is very thoughtful, amiable and accommodating. His flat is located in quiet area in proximity to Taksim. It's close to the Metro line Osmanbey and close enough to walk home from Taksim in the morning if you out late :).

If you are looking for a place to stay in İstanbul I seriously recommend staying with him. He not only helped me with getting my metro card, but he also invited me out with his friends on numerous occasions.

I can't say enough about my wonderful experience with Ahmet and in İstanbul. Thanks man!

  • Ahmet was a very kind and considerate host! He gave me all the information I needed to find apartment. The place is about a 10 minute walk to the train station and the bus stop is a bout a minute walk away.

I had a chance to converse with Ahmet the first night I was in town and from there I became extremely busy. The hot water works with no issues. There was plenty of space for me to place my thing in the refrigerator. And the room was just what I needed. It's not large at all, but I just needed a place to place my things and go to sleep. I was out of the place most of the time and had no issues with security inside or outside. Ahmet was very helpful and gave me plenty of suggestions. The temperature for the apartment was never uncomfortable. Keep in mind that this is a budget room and you should be happy with your accommodations. Ahmet, thanks again for allowing me to stay!

  • I prefer to stay with such a system for the first time and Ahmet's thanks to the friendly host, for 12 days without any strangeness, spent time in a cozy and comfortable. If you accept it, in the center of the city, easily accessible from all over the house, I plan to visit again to render.

I'm an open-minded, down to earth, respectful individual who wants to meet new people, explore new ideas, destinations. I respect different beliefs, life-styles, thoughts. My friends describe me as a cool guy to hang out with and reliable friend to count on. I guess, that's how i see myself, too.
