About This Listing
This immaculate penthouse suite features sprawling open space and a huge South-East facing deck, complete with a patio set and grill.
This space is fully furnished, with Restoration Hardware seating and lighting, and has all common essentials.
This unbelievable, impeccably designed Penthouse unit is spacious, bright and most importantly, has a wonderful 300 square foot, furnished outdoor deck.
Three minutes from the WTC PATH line at Grove Street, the pad is great for family vacations, couples retreats or groups of friends. Located in a bustling area of Jersey City, with tons of restaurants and night life, one can stay local or be in Manhattan within 10 minutes.
The neighborhood is very safe. And the building is top notch, with 24/7 security, a 2-story gym, and a 15,000 square foot roof deck (not that you need it when you have the private deck) - but still a nice add-on.
We're pet friendly, and if you smoke, you can do so (out on the deck, not in the apartment).
We have lots of "little perks" here, like a sleeper sofa, 55 inch flat panel TV with full cable (all movie channels), great water pressure in the shower, and a king-sized bed with a super comfortable memory foam mattress. The bedroom window opens up to a panoramic view of Liberty State Park, the marina and harbor. It is breath-taking.
There is a full stocked open kitchen, and all other amenities that you would need to make it feel like a VIP experience.
This space is no longer available for productions, private events and parties, out of respect for our neighbors and logistical challenges.
Interaction with Guests
As much or as little as desired. Owner lives nearby, and has been in the neighborhood for over 10 years.
Fantastic combination of NYC-accessible, full of restaurants and activities and kid friendly. Quiet at night and not overly congested.
- Owner has other units in the area, including a 3BR, 3BA condo - around the same price. Inquire if interested.
Steps away to the PATH train, which gets you to downtown and midtown NYC in 15 minutes or less.
Other Things to Note
Super secure, with a 24/7 doorman - not that it's needed, because the neighborhood is friendly as is. Street + Paid parking both available to out of town guests.
Leave it how you found it. Keep noise to a respectable level, especially after 10pm (including weekends and in hallways), as there are neighbors next door.
There are certain closets, drawers and cabinets in the apartment which are locked, and generally off limits. Please respect those private areas, which are clearly designated.
This Penthouse apartment is a beautiful open space and has a nice patio that provides a view of Jersey City and NYC beyond. It is an expansive open space with a large living area. The apartment is ideally located close to mass transit, PATH station and a short walk to the waterfront. Those who are planning to have more then one couple utilizing the space should be aware that though the description indicates that the apartment sleeps eight there is only one bedroom.
Great place, huge and airy and comfortable. I stayed there with my three adult children and their 7-year old half-brother, and there was room to spare. Lots of room to spare. Armen was great, extremely helpful in every respect.

About the Host, Arman
I live and work at a marketing agency in Jersey City, NJ.
I am a lifetime New Yorker (born and raised), who has lived in every neighborhood in and around the city, from Park Slope, to the Upper West Side, to Upper East Side to Long Island City to (now) Jersey City. I am a serial Entrepreneur, who has started four companies, sold one and currently juggling several fairly innovative ventures.
Grove Street (Waterfront), Jersey City is an amazing neighborhood - safe, lively, hip and close to NYC for a comfortable work commute.
I write's a blog - called March Fourth Blog - which is all about his philosophy of being positive and determined, regardless of what challenges life brings; with all the changes that we're facing, the tagline of "Innovation, Illumination and Inspiration in the modern world" speaks to what drives him.
Traveling is an eye and mind-opening experience, and typically stimulates some of my best ideas. I write and read a lot while traveling, but also try to put down the accessories and just soak in new cultures, people and places through just "being there".
