This was a wonderful apartment close to Taksim as well as many other amazing parts of Istanbul. The apartment was big enough for 4 of us and was bright and airy. I would stay here again!
our stay was really great! the apartment is near the center - everything achievable by feet
Firat was a great host - we felt very comfortable!
we can defenitely recommend to stay at Firat's apartment!
The flat is perfectly located just a couple of minutes from Istiklal ave - the decor is exactly as you see it in the pictures and Firat was always very quick to reply to messages. Recommended! Teşekkür ederim!
The most adventurous AirBnB experience, so far. Overall, we loved Firat's place. We pretty much had the place to ourselves our entire stay and that was a plus, definitely. There was another room that was occupied by another AirBnB guests but they were gone the same day we arrived. Check in could have gone a little smoother but we're not big complainers and Firat apologized. The place had the best wifi out of all the places we stayed at on this trip and there were about 8 of them. At the end of each day, when we were dead tired from being all over the city, we couldn't wait to just getting back to the place and lounge on the couch and enjoy our takeaway dinners. We even had an impromptu candlelight dinner courtesy of the electricity going out for a couple of hours, or so during our last night in Istanbul. First time that this happened to us while staying at an AirBnB. The place was just comfortable. We felt like we could have been back home in San Diego the whole entire time except we were in a totally different country. The neighborhood was interesting. Definitely got the local experience at this place. Saw the same old lady down the street, kids playing, mini market, etc. Location was nice as it was super easy to hail a cab which we did a couple of times to save our feet from walking. But, when we wanted to walk, it was also very convenient, close to Istiklal, Taksim. We still can't believe we walked all the way from Sultanahmet to home making stops at the tourist spots along the way. Overall, we loved our stay and would stay here again if given the opportunity to return to Istanbul.
