About this listing
Beautiful southwest Sioux Falls home as seen on Eye on Keloland!! Enjoy the comforts of home while you visit or pass through - either the whole house or as a share if you like - you decide!
Beautiful home located on the edge of town. Enjoy the whole house to yourself or as a share depending upon your preference & dates. Either way, you will have access to full use of the house - kitchen, laundry, decks, hot tub, internet, 55 inch TVs, etc. The backyard (decks/hot tub) opens to a gravel road and a corn field – peaceful, quiet setting with the convenience of being located in the city. Three bedrooms available with the addition of a 4th with the use of the den (also has a queen bed). Even when utilized as a share rental, the lower level is mostly separate and set up almost identical to the upper level with the exception of the kitchen and a fully separate entrance. Have a bike at the property for guest to use, and kayaks are available for rent if desired. I have great knowledge of the area and will help with info in any way. Please note rates may vary for whole house depending on # of guests.
Interaction with Guests
Totally up to you!! Can provide recommendations, info, interact and visit as you like... or not at all if that is your preference.
Peaceful quiet neighborhood on a small loop road - as the road is not a through street, very minimal traffic - only people around are those in the neighborhood!
No smoking - indoor or out. If you smoke, please do elsewhere or in the street, picking up any butts, ensuring they are extinguised.
No pets allowed without prior approval.
About the Host, Chris
Hi! I’m Chris and I love to travel…
I started hosting years ago long before Airbnb was around – frankly as a way to earn some extra cash during peak seasons, but found that I really enjoyed the whole aspect of it – meeting people, hearing their stories, getting to know them… Life is an amazing thing, and in my world, it’s even more amazing when shared with others.
My goal is to make your stay as pleasant as it would be if you were at home. We travel a fair amount – both locally, throughout the states, and occasionally abroad when life allows and there is nothing like visiting a place away from home where you are comfortable and able to relax like you would in your own place!
I have met some amazing people in my travels, made some great friends, have seen and experienced awesome things, and at times have been utterly astonished at what life has to offer…. and while I can’t guarantee you’ll experience all of that in little ole’ Sioux Falls SD, it is my hope that you come away from my home and our area with at least a little bit of it…
Whether you stay at my place or someone else’s, please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have and I will do my best to help you out.
Oh, and people often ask about the gnomes in my pics or around the house – just some silly thing I started as a fluke years ago – happened to pick one up as a joke for my brother, but then took it on vacation once (long before that other site started using it) and was amazed at the interest it brought – it’s a great ice breaker as people will often comment when we have it out or are taking pictures with it. It’s just a fun quirky way we’ve used to chronicle our travels and brighten our days.
So from my gnome to yours… if you stay at my home - enjoy yourselves, make yourselves comfortable, and smile!
