Thankfully Megan warned us to print the directions because GPS and WIFi are spotty at best. That's a function of the area not the home. The home is everything we wanted it to be. Gorgeous views!! Don't rent this home if you can't do stairs, but otherwise it's terrific! Road is windy and steep but to get the view it's worth it. Previous reviews warned of nasty neighbors but we saw only 1 and she was pleasant. The pantry was well stocked. The only thing missing was creamer for that 1st morning's coffee ( non-dairy would work in a pinch and won't spoil). Big Bottom Market is a must for breakfast biscuits. Boon was really good for fish. We'd definitely stay again. Note: the contract with RRH is dyre and it almost made us pass on the place, but we're glad we didn't. Megan was a gem and made us feel welcome. Had a lovely time!
We had such a fabulous time! The views are stunning and the house was very well equipped with everything we might need. And the shower in the master bedroom is heavenly. Also, the hosts were highly helpful and available throughout our booking and stay, making out visit seamless delight. We hosted our family welcome dinner for our wedding here and other than the numbered steps (which are what partially account for the breathtaking view, but become a challenge for older people) we would not have changed a thing. It's perfect!
A perfect place for our family of four. Host provided a gate for the stairs (our children are young), and the large master shower made cleaning up comfortable and easy. Furniture was comfortable and the spacious top floor left us plenty of room to relax. Master bed was quite comfortable and everything worked wonderfully. We had a terrific time, thanks!
Superb place. We really enjoyed it. Patio is the killer feature for sure. Very secluded/private and great view. Quite roomy. Also highly recommend checking out Boon Eat + Drink in downtown (about 40 mins walk or 5 mins by car).
Our stay at the at this house was lovely. Everything was advertised. Home was cozy with everything needed. We particularly loved the super comfy mattresses and the gorgeous view from the deck, perfect for spotting blue jays and hummingbirds while gazing out at the vineyard below.
The home was cozy, comfortable, and immaculately clean! It almost felt like a treehouse because the main floor has beautiful views of the redwood trees. We very much enjoyed our stay!
The home was as advertised, very clean and lovely! The only improvement point however, is that when we were visiting the river banks the neighbors were quite rude and had pointed out that the beaches are only for residents. It would have been good to know ahead of time if renting the home would exclude us from that access.
Hi, Serena! We are glad you enjoyed the home, and would like to apologize about the neighbors! River banks are not private, they are public, and you are fine to be there as long as you didn't trespass through private property to get there. Sometimes a few of our local folks can get a little carried away protecting what they consider "theirs". However, the river is for everyone. :)
We will hope to see you again!
