About this listing
This holiday is for people who enjoy peace and quiet while having access to an uncrowded beach only 3 minutes walk away.
The volcanic island has mild weather all year round and dramatic scenery.
Giniginamar is one of the least touristy villages and the foreigners that are here are largely expats.
The house is located high up the hillside having its own garden and spacious terrace area with barbeque.
Having only one bedroom (with on-suite) it is ideal for couples. There is a bed sofa in the lounge so four could be accomodated short term.
There is a good restaurant in the village - Don Carlos and up to 2 other options for eating depending on the season but currently there are no shops at all. Luckily Gran Tarajal, the provincial town just a short drive away can cater for most needs, even here there are not many tourists.
For the energetic you can walk to Gran Tarajal over the cliffs with the reward of a fresh fish lunch.
The island is great for golf and watersports, especially windsurfing and hiking.
A car here though is pretty essential if you want to do any exploring, car hire is reasonably priced. Easy parking outside the house.
Internet dongle / modem supplied free against 30 € deposit. Works on a prepaid system and can be credited from 10€.

We liked the location so much we bought the house! Hope you will like it too.
We hope guests will treat the house in a respectful manner as they would expect guests in their own home to do.
